Quite a decent business hotel with a lot of rooms. Free parking but it is in another building across the road.
Room was a decent size and pretty comfortable. Amenities are nice. There is a free use coffee machine in the foyer on the first (ground) floor. Vending machines and a manga room are scattered on various floors throughout the building.
You're supplied with 2 sets of clothes. The purple & grey (slightly cult like) ones are for use between the second floor to the bath and can be worn to breakfast/dinner if you feel so inclined. The white ones are for room wear only.
The communal bath is an onsen (Hot Spring water) and rather relaxing. Although the 'outdoor' bath is more like an atrium with an open roof and a little small. The main bath is much larger and nice enough looking, but feels very utilitarian. The tv in your room gives information as to how busy the baths and dining room are. Very convenient to know.
They supply a free dinner of curry and rice, however, once it's gone that's it It may or may not be there. There are a couple of convenience stores across the road, but I recommend taking a short walk to the Shizuoka station area (~10min) and enjoying some of the restaurants around there. There's also a lot of izakaya with a variety of atmosphere on the way that might be worth checking out too.
Breakfast is a buffet affair, but was actually pretty good. I thought it was a bit lacking in terms of Japanese breakfast style, but there are plenty of options featuring fish, chicken, salad, yoghurt, bread etc. I was impressed and came out thinking it made a pretty good start for the day.
The staff seemed friendly enough and the guy at the parking building had some good tips for trips around the city. Thanks buddy!!

Read moreOne of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! Great quality hotel, especially for the price. Very professional and friendly service, the room is very high quality and nice. I especially like the onsen, which was complete with 2 different hot baths (one with fresh outdoor air even), a cold plunge, a rain shower, and a sauna! Just incredible for recovering after a long day of walking around. I actually wish I had gone to the onsen sooner, and would have used it likely 2x a day if I had known how good it was.The breakfast was also incredible. Just a huge variety of great food options, most of which were Japanese which I quite enjoyed. They even had wasabi (fresh I think), soba noodles, and lots of seafood options. This is one of the top 5 best hotels I have ever stayed at! Keep up the great work. I also loved Shizuoka!! This hotel has several restaurants very close by and is only 1-2 blocks away from the main store and restaurant area of that part of...
Read moreThis hotel is a bit of a walk from the shopping area, but it offers a pleasant experience for a short stay in Shizuoka. Conveniently, there are two large convenience stores nearby, which is a plus. While the hotel lacks an amenities station in the lobby, each guest receives a bag of amenities in their room, which is a nice touch. They also provided pyjamas and set of comfy clothes to wear inside the hotel (since they are onsen hotel, you can wear it to breakfast or around the property).
The sleeping quality was decent, although the bed was a bit on the hard side for my liking. The highlight of my stay was definitely the inclusive breakfast—don't miss it! It features a variety of small dishes to sample, perfect for those looking to enjoy a traditional Japanese meal. Overall, this hotel provides a solid option for travelers seeking a comfortable stay...
