Hotel Route Inn Shimizu Inter — Hotel in Shizuoka

The hotel is located right at the exit of Shimizu interchange. Note that you have to pay attention coz you might missed the entrance. Parking is free for hotel guests and they do accommodate lots of cars as we managed to find a parking even when we stayed during the 3 days public holiday. The downside is that the room smells of strong cigarette smell even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Hope the hotel will take note about this. The public bath is relatively small with only 2 vanity tables, so you can imagine how crowded it will be when it is fully occupied. But all and all, for a night stay and it's price I think it is...

No room on first night due to error from reservation system via agent website. However, they (espectially the front manager) sincerely help and try to resolve the issue and take their responsibilities.

2nd night is good: room (small as jp style), atmosphere, jp breakfast, free car park are ok. Only concern is, they can speak English...

突然の１人旅でお邪魔しました。「ルートイン」初めての利用です。||夕方になってからの出発となり、予約できるか心配しましたが、予約出来て部屋も空いていたので良かったです。で、到着が22時過ぎのとなってしまうので、予約時に到着予定時刻を連絡しておきました。||いざ、22時過ぎに宿に到着しました。清水インターからすぐのロケーションでした。駐車場も広くて安心して駐められます。で、玄関に向かったところ…自動ドアが開きません。手を当てるところに当ててもだめです。何度かやってもだめなので…入口が別の場所にあるのかと思い、探してみますがありません。仕方なく、もう一度チャレンジすると…やっと開きました（閉めてしまっていたようです…残念です）。そのあとは、なんとかチェックインできました。||部屋は…少しでも気持ちよく泊まりたいと思い、眺望の良いと思われた高層階の部屋「コンフォートルーム」を予約しました。が、肝心の眺望は窓ガラスに白いものが貼られていてほとんど見えない状況。これでは、数百円安い「スタンダード」で十分と思いました。||お風呂は大浴場があって快適です。||朝ごはんは、種類がまあまああって、なおかつ味もまずまずで満足の内容。||ロケーションは、清水インターからすぐで大変便利。駐車場も広くて安心して駐められます。いいところがたくさんあるのですが、スムーズに玄関に入れなかったことと、眺望がない窓ガラスがネガティブな印象です。「ルートイン」はどこもこんな感じなのでしょうか。||まあ、プラスマイナスして平均...
