GUESTHOUSE nesou — Hotel in Taketomi

We fell in love with Guesthouse Nesou as soon as we turned up the path and stepped through the front door. Aya and Raita are warm and helpful hosts, whose care, attention to detail and generosity of spirit made our stay one of our most treasured experiences in Japan. As non Japanese speakers, we were extra work for them, but they made us feel very welcome and helped us make the most of our time in Iriomote. We stayed for four nights and it was amazing. We enjoyed every second. The food is absolutely fantastic, one of the best places we had dinner at in Japan. All the place was renovated by the owners, Aya and Rayta. They built it themselves and their hearts are felt in every corner of the house. Everything about it is absolutely beautiful!! 西表島で1番ビーチシュノーケリングが綺麗と言われている中野海岸あたりで宿泊したくて選びました。

スーパーも歩いて3〜5分で便利です。道中に無人のフルーツ販売所あり。無人販売所には冷凍庫もあって、パイン棒🍍も買えます。スーパーからの帰りに歩きながら食べるも良し。

問い合わせへの返信も早くて安心してお願いできます。

料理も上手です。 我が家は川床ならぬ海床バーベキューをお願いしました。宿の全員でビーチにBBQセットを持って行って、海の浅瀬に設置します。ベンチに座り、足を海ちゃぷちゃぷさせながら料理を食べれて楽しいゆんたくでした。

三枚豚（皮付き）やアカジンミーバイなど、沖縄ならではの食材も用意してくださっていました。皮付きの豚肉初めて食べました！

人見知りなのですが、オーナーと奥さんが気を使ってくださり、仲間に入りやすく、話しやすかったです。

子連れなので早めに明日の準備をしに部屋に戻らなければならず、ゆっくりお話出来ず、残念でした。

猫ちゃんが１匹いて、ゆんたくスペースでくつろいでいることが多く、人懐っこいので子供は喜んでいました。

夜になるとヤドカリが大量に出てくるのも面白いです。

洗濯、乾燥機、個室のクーラーが無料なのも助かります。

宿としてリフォームされたばかりなのでトイレやシャワー、設備はどれも新品。とても綺麗です。ウォッシュレットあり。タオルも無料。

個室は写真では天井が低そうでどうかなと思っていましたが、泊まってみると全く気にならなかったです。

ビーチシュノーケリングは１日ツアー後にできるかなと思っていましたが、忙しくてできませんでした。ビーチシュノーケリングをするために１日フリーの時間があるといいと思います。
