EN italian restaurant — Restaurant in Taketomi

There is something really special about a Japanese chef making Italian food - with the Japanese rigor and attention to detail, as well as local ingredients and flavors specific to Japanese cuisine. It's a delicious fusion! And this restaurant is cozy and cute, run by an adorable couple (and their even more adorable children, who you might see peeking out of the kitchen at the end of the evening). You MUST make a reservation. Though, when my hard-earned reservation looked like it was going to fall smack-dab in the middle of a typhoon, they sweetly squeezed my husband and I in earlier, for an incredible dinner. We couldn't resist returning once the typhoon had passed, and -again, very sweetly- the woman let us have a seat at nearly 9pm to enjoy some wine and tiramisu. Small and almost dismissaible as you drive by but totally worth stopping for dinner. All the food we ordered was great, the star of the meal was definitely the local sea urchin cream pasta. ⭐️美味しすぎて食べ過ぎ注意（笑）‼️島の美味しい食材を美味しく調理してくれます‼️@西表島

平日の19:00に予約して訪問いたしました。場所は西表島の上原港から月が浜に向かった途中にあります。予約無しの訪問は今は無いような感じです。

今回の訪問が4回目で、西表島に訪問したらenさんは外せないです‼️

近隣のホテルからの送迎をしていないので、 交通手段が限られます。車も停めれますが、飲まない人がいればですし、自転車も飲酒運転になるので、徒歩のみ‼️（笑） 歩いて16分かけての毎度の訪問です。 月が浜方面から歩いてくると、途中にやぎさんもいて、癒されます⭐️

店内はテーブル席が入口から左右にあり、 お洒落なウッド調の作りで落ち着きます。

飲み物も色々と種類があります。 オーナーご夫婦と女性の3名で回していて、 オーダーは気長に待ちます。

島の食材をふんだんにイタリアンでいただける、そしてリーズナブルな値段で楽しめるのは最高です。東京で食べたらいくらするのか。。。（笑）

■うにプリン 2人でぺろっと食べれる量です。 こんな贅沢なプリンを食べたことが無いです⭐️濃厚なウニの味がしっかりと味わえます。

■トリュフ薫るポテトフライ 最後の方に食べたのですが、しっかりと焦げ目がついていて、そしてカリッとしていて、 お酒によく合います‼️

■西表島イノシシのカルパッチョ 最初に出て来たのですが、 いやー、イノシシってなかなか食べないですが、本当に美味しいです‼️ 独特のくさみがあるのですが、 それも良くて、最高です⭐️

■牛ハチノスのトマト煮グラタン これ、最高にハチノスが美味しかったです‼️ 普段食べれない食材を味わうことが出来て、 とても良かったです。

■濃厚ウニのクリームソースパスタ 間違いない逸品です‼️ 超絶に濃厚なウニのパスタを美味しくいただきました。 パスタの麺も本当美味しく調理されています‼️

■蟹とキノコのバジルクリームピザ 〆にいただいたのですが、 最高に美味しかったです‼️ ある程度食べたいものを食べてからの、 空腹感を見てのオーダーにしました（笑）

これだけ食べて、そして呑んでも、 1人6,000円くらいでした。

お会計はカードで支払いました。 以前は現金のみでしたが、去年から導入されたそうです。
