Otonashi no Sato [Camp & Cottage] — Hotel in Tanabe

We came in a car to stay in one of the cottages. If walking the Kumano Kodo, the place would suit, despite its location away from Hongu, but it's a stay with a difference: well equipped and clean, friendly service, location next to the beautiful Oto River, and having a choice of 2 baths, the Watarase Onsen being 5 minutes away and having outdoor pools, although I felt the JPY1,000 charge wasn't worth paying for as we could use the inhouse baths for free. (Note they are closed between 9pm and 1pm.) The reception staff was friendly, Japanese only was spoken. I would certainly recommend this place whether or not embarking on...

Good location in Wataraze Onsen area, with bus stop at 8m walk. We stayed in a cabin, and it's got all you need except showers, which is in the main building in the onsen facilities. 家族旅行（4歳と7歳の子供と夫婦）で利用。コテージに一泊して材料持ち込みでバーベキューをしました。基本的には綺麗で使い勝手が良く満足いく利用ができました！以下、細かな感想です。どなたかの参考になれば↓

・紙食器と紙コップとプラコップが人数分用意されていてとてもありがたかったです。（コップが2個あったおかげで余った方を歯磨き後の口すすぎに使えました。） ・軒先に投光器（ライト）がありますが、明るいうちにバーベキューコンロの場所を決めてしまい、暗くなってからライトを付けたら投光器の明かりが届きにくいセッティングにしてしまったためお肉が焼けているのか見にくかったです。ランタンやヘッドライトを持っていくのをお勧めします。懐中電灯も用意されていますが照らす範囲が狭いので見にくかったです。 ・炭の手早い火の付け方が案内冊子に入っておりかなり助かりました！ ・炭や薪は揃っていますが着火する物がなくライターを売店で購入しました。 ・アカゲラというコテージを利用しましたが、二間あるうちの寝室側にしかエアコンがなく、天井も非常に高いので夏や冬はエアコンの効きに不安ありです。しかも部屋を仕切る引き戸の立て付けが悪く、20センチほど閉まらずに開きっぱなしになります。 ・ホットカーペットではなく電気こたつなので冬は冷えるかもしれません。 ・台所とトイレに手拭きタオルが設置されていたのが使い勝手良かったです。 ・入浴施設の温泉センターが21時までなので、夕方にコテージに到着して火をつけてバーベキューして急いで片付けてお風呂に行って…とかなり時間がタイトになってしまいました。早め時間からのバー...
