Chofu Urban Hotel — Hotel in Tokyo

Stayed here primarily for its location which was opposite the Tokyo Stadium as Mrs Wanderer and I were attending a Rugby World Cup game and for that it was brilliant.||Staff spoke almost no English but made every effort to communicate and were very pleasant, helpful and happy.||Room was bigger than some we had stayed in Japan but are in need of updating. That said facilities were acceptable and included TV, WiFi, mini fridge, air conditioning, reasonably comfortable bed and en-suite facilities. ||Thought room was pricey compared to others but then we were paying for the convenience of being literally next to the stadium and therefore we were able to avoid the pre and post match queues both at the stadium and at the various train and bus stations plus the commute...

　過日、大学の同窓会があり、前泊のホテルとして宿泊しました。||　場所は京王線の飛田給駅から甲州街道（国道２０号線）に向けて、味の素スタジアムに向かう感じで直進し、旧甲州街道を横切り右手にスタジアムが見えたら信号がある十字路を左折します。道なりに府中方面にあるいて行くと左手にホテルが見えて来ます。これが一番簡単な行き方で、土地勘が有る人は甲州街道に歩いて行くとタクシー乗り場があるので、そこの細道を左折し、しばらく斜めに進むイメージで細道を進むと、左側にホテルが見えます。いずれにしても、甲州街道沿いで、チュ上尾高速道路の調布インターチェンジから府中方面に行く左側にも見えます。以前のカントウムラ付近で、前回の東京オリンピックマラソンの折り返し地点も近くにあります。||　ホテルはこじんまりとしていて、フロントは丁寧な対応をしてくれて夕食の優待券や朝食会場、周辺地図もくれて、好感度が上がります。||　建物や部屋はかなり年季が入っていて、メンテナンスがしっかりしているためか、余り気になりませんでした。それよりも、机に支配人直筆の礼状があり、さらに浴室には小さいおもちゃのアヒルもいて、実家に帰った気持ちになりました。||　料理は口コミでも好評で、私も優待券を使って夕食を食べてみました。定食は９００円で、これは既に割引価格になっているようです。単品でシュウマイを注文し、あっという間に美味しく頂きました。朝食会場と宴会場も兼ねており、多目的なレストランです。朝食も８００円で食べることができ、私が利用した日は特に中華粥が美味しく、微妙な塩加減にシュウマイの皮を揚げたものを乗せて食べるとコクが出て、何杯もお代わりしたくなります。店員も小まめに水をもってきてくれたり、お茶のお代わりを持ってきてくれたり、痒い所に手が届くかんじです。||　国道沿いのビジネスホテルということで少し侮っていましたが、フレンドリーなフロントと好感触のレストランを含め、また...
