The hotel staff have no English, but hey, that's what Google translate is for. The only downside is that there are few eating options close by that I could find. Read moreGood staff, well priced and spacious rooms. It isn't a new hotel so misses modern basics like USB charge points. Not a big deal, bring your charger. The furnishings show their age but everything works and is comfortable. The aircon was rattling. I managed to sleep ok but Shikoku is warm even approaching Autumn so you can't live without full time aircon. The view of the harbour from our room was great too. It is opposite the ferry terminal so easy to come and leave the island. Curry breakfast/juice & coffee was included so an easy start to the day. The info centre is close and a good tour runs from there. We had a meal at the restaurant. Okay but not especially tasty. Food needs more spice to make it interesting.
