Hotel Okuda-ya — Hotel in Wakkanai

I am a japanese tourist and went around Hokkaido with a rent car and we stayed this hotel (actually Ryokan style) for one night with my wife and three naughty kids (7,4, 2 years old) and my room was tatami room.||||The hotel has big parking lots so you can park your car. It was good for us who drove to hokkaidou in the summer holiday. The room is a big tatami room with futons and it is no issue at all for a family of 5 people. The hot spring (natural one I believe) is big and great. My stay doesn’t include meal but you can find convenience stores nearby. There is no laundry inside but it is big coin operated self-laundry shop by 10 min walk.||||I think most of the guest are for busines (or short holiday for a large family like us) so I can say this is a business hotel, looks no foreign guest but I am sure they will welcome as they...

近代的なホテルが好きな人は合いませんので他のホテルをオススメします このホテルは温泉とサウナがあります 温泉は午後4時から0時と朝6時から9時までです いつもではないみたいですがカレーのサービスもあります (2019年8月時点では休止中です)部屋は洋室ですが昭和を感じます。清潔感があります (昭和生まれの人は子供の頃にワクワクしながら泊まったホテルや旅館とダブルのでその懐かしさから何か逆に落ち着きます) スタッフの方はみな親切です 一階には温泉浴場、自販機とロビー、朝食を出すレストランがあります すごいのは朝食、配膳されて出て来ます品数もありご飯のおかわりが出来て、更にバイキング出来ます(ウインナーや卵焼き、ミートボールやサラダ類等々)最後はコーヒー出てきます。正直、物資に対してのみならず人や移動にも非常にハンデがある最北の地でここまでもてなしてくれるホテルには頭が下がります 宿泊費も土地の事を思えば安いです 200メートル程歩くと食事できる街中に入ります。 仕事柄、いろんなホテルによく泊まりますが常に切磋琢磨している良いホテルとは何かを教えてくれるホテルの一つです 2021年に久しぶりに利用しました。コロナ禍の中、変わらない接客には頭が下がります。ウェルカムカレーが復活していたので写真載せたくて再投稿しました。頑張ってて下さい。 If you like modern hotels, I recommend other hotels. This hotel has a hot spring and a sauna. The hot springs are from 4 pm to 0 pm and from 6 am to 9 am. However, there is also a curry service (suspended as of August 2019) The room is a Western-style room, but it feels like Showa. There is a feeling of cleanliness (People born in the Showa era are doubled with the hotels and inns where they stayed with excitement when they were children, so it makes me feel calm because of the nostalgia) All the staff are kind. There is a lobby and a restaurant that serves breakfast.
