Nice campsite! We camped for one night on Feb 15th, 2025. The owner was very friendly. We didn’t make a reservation and just showed up with our rental car. The owner was very welcoming and showed us some places to go on a map. It was ¥1000 per person per night. The town is very cute; there is a grocery store, restaurant, and an onsen. We went to the onsen instead of using the shower. The yard was pretty big and we were the only people there. Make sure to bring cash and some change!! 💴

This might be the best campsite on Yakushima.

Great location conveniently by both a local and a hotel hot spring, and a supermarket.

What a beautiful spot between the mountains and the sea. The campsite is beautiful with lots of plants and trees and of course the bees! Rainer and Naoko were lovely and very helpful....
