Hotel Active Yamaguchi — Hotel in Yamaguchi

Stayed in this hotel for almost two weeks for a business trip. Don't expect for rooms to be large, they are really small. But what the rooms lack in size, they make up for great service and good food. WIFI connection in the room is very fast and stable, aircondition is excellent and the bathroom is cramped but very functional. The rooms are cleaned daily and everytime I go back from our training sessions, it always looks and smells brand new, kudos to their housekeeping staff. Oh and did I mention about the food? Breakfast comes in for free with the accomodation and the food is very tasty and at par with five star hotels, I did not mind the same spread for 10 days since the food was that good (try their curry with rice). Laundry services are also available at the 2nd floor for 200 yen/30 mins for the washing machine and 100 yen/30 mins for the spin dryer. Over all stay was just great and I hope to visit the...

Good location. The room is small. The hardware seems to be aged, specially bathroom. I like Active brand hotels but I have never stayed with Active Hotel with such aged hardware. However, the service is very kind and very good + Considering its price (below 6,000¥) on weekend, I think it was ok. Free hot coffee, hot milk coffee, hot chocolate and green tea machines are available in front of the elevator. The quality of breakfast is pity even though there are enough kinds of foods and drinks. It is very close to Shin-yamaguchi Shikansen Station. The reception was helpful and informative. They have modern or front load type of washing Maschine than most of hotels in Japan and it is free of usage with laundry soap, the elevator is much bigger than most of the hotels we had stayed. In every room floor just when you go out from the elevator has a microwave, coffee, green tea and hot chocolate machine for free.
