I recently had the pleasure of staying at Vision Glamping Resort & Spa Yamanakako, and it was an unforgettable experience that seamlessly blended luxury with nature. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail and commitment to guest comfort were evident.
Accommodations: Our modern tent was a marvel of design and functionality. Equipped with smart lighting, Bluetooth speakers, and ample charging stations, it catered to all our technological needs. The insulation was impeccable, ensuring a cozy atmosphere with heating during the cooler nights. Waking up to the breathtaking view of Mount Fuji through our tent’s window was a daily highlight.
Amenities: The resort offers a range of top-tier amenities. We particularly enjoyed the private open-air bath and tent sauna, which provided a serene and rejuvenating experience. The fully equipped kitchen, complete with a stocked fridge, made meal preparations a delight. Evenings by the fire pit, under a canopy of stars, added a magical touch to our stay.
Cleanliness and Maintenance: Every corner of the resort was spotless and well-maintained. It’s evident that the staff takes great pride in upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and upkeep.
Dining: The catered meals were delicious (veggies are homegrown 😁). Portions might feel small for some; luckily you have the option to order extras. We savored every dish, and the variety ensured that all taste preferences were met.
Staff: The team at Vision Glamping was very great. Their warmth, professionalism, and dedication to ensuring a memorable stay did not go unnoticed. They were always available to assist, making us feel truly valued as guests.
Overall Experience: The combination of luxurious accommodations, outstanding amenities, and the unparalleled view of Mount Fuji makes Vision Glamping Resort & Spa Yamanakako a must-visit. Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway, a trip with friends, or a family vacation, this resort caters to all. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone seeking a unique blend of comfort and nature.

Read moreThe amount of privacy, comfort, and amenities made the cost totally worth the trek here from Kyoto. We got lucky and saw Mt Fuji both nights we stayed. After a very long strenuous hike, being able to enjoy our own personal sauna and onsen was great. The tent itself had very comfortable beds and had plenty of amenities. My husband and I also ordered the food/drinks package which allotted two people more than enough (good) food that you get to cook yourself. If you don’t want to have to deal with that, there is a pretty affordable grocery store with prepped meal options that is a less than 10 min walk away. Pre arrange taxis ahead of time though, they aren’t always so easily accessible. We didn’t realize this and the staff were so helpful with setting that up.
Make sure to use some kind of translation app because the staff are not super fluent with English but all of the labels were in English and Japanese. Also, there are some actual camp sites nearby and you’re literally right next to a forest so expect some noise from wildlife...
Read moreThis is my first glamping experience, comparing to pictures online (in Canada) , I considered this one to be way fancier than all the one I have seen so far. I enjoyed the stay very much, even though weather was not cooperating during my stay. We still use the outdoor hot tub during the rain, there is a retractable cover which is a very considerate design.
Due to everything is booked, we end up getting one of the largest site, it definitely can fit a family nicely, in the meantime we enjoyed every space within the site.
I am taking 1 star away, due to the in room CO2 sensor. It worries me a bit during the stay as it’s reading keep rising overnight. Next morning after I open the door of the tent, the reading starts dropping. If the reader is accurate, it may need some improvement on air circulation. It’s not high to a dangerous level, but it...
