Stayed one night and made the right choice on this hotel. Location is great and convenient. Only problem was the parking as we had wait for a while to find an open spot. The hotel provided us free small towels and a portable Japanese fan as the weather was very hot. Also got a "coin" for free token of drinks (except alcohols) from the vending machine located on the ground floor. Women are given security code to open the door to the women's onsen for security reason. Unfortunately, there was only one washing machine and one dryer in the onsen (women's side) which I had to wait for my turn. Heard from my partner that there were more than one on the men's side. There's a restaurant on the groundfloor with reasonably priced meals. However, we opted to eat outside. Many small izakayas after walking pass the Yanagawa station which is just a walking distance from the hotel. There's a convenient store at the station. Breakfast was provided but to avoid congestion at the restaurant, they asked us to choose from the specific time group. We opted for the 2nd group which was from 8:30am. However, it was quite packed with foreign tourists. Food choices were good and restock quite fast. The room was clean and good for 2 adults. Just remember to turn on the fridge should you decide to use as normally it will be turned off. The water from the bathroom is drinkable. The location is quite quiet but relaxing. Many eel shops around that area which gets crowded during...
Read moreWe arrived in Fukuoka, picked up a car, and drove to a wonderful Tofu restaurant for a lunch to spoil ourselves. After which we log-in hotel telephone for Route-Inn and fumbled around to look for the hotel. The telephone number given when we booked the hotel turned out to be a wrong number. Attempts to call were unsuccessful. Good thing was a friend managed to get some helpful direction from a passer-by with her elementary Japanese. We finally made it to the hotel. Parking was no problem as the hotel offer large parking area.||Check in was smooth, several staff could communicate with us in English and we checked into standard rooms which are small but comfortable. Had reasonable dinner at the hotel as area around the small train station was limited with shops and choices. Dinner turned out reasonably good.||We stayed a night and left for Kagoshima the following day. ||As the stay was for a night only, and the search for hotel was difficult, I could only give the hotel an...
Read moreRoute Inn Yanagawa Ekimae offers well-appointed rooms with refined décor and full amenities. However, the interior space is somewhat cramped, and the parking guidance is not clear enough, which I hope can be improved in the future. The hotel is conveniently located near Yanagawa Station. This unique journey, while not without its quirks, is still worth a visit. The interior design is considered rather practical, and I look forward to more exceptional service in the future. For those with a sufficient budget and an appreciation for unique hotels, Route Inn Yanagawa Ekimae remains a worthy consideration. It is more than just a stay; it's a journey for relaxation, and I anticipate an even more perfect experience...
