Petra Cottage — Hotel in Maan

Nice experience to stay if you have your own car. It's very lonely and might be a bit scary at night, when all is dark and quiet around, but we liked this a lot. The main room is nice but empty and almost windowless. You sleep on the floor but there are a lot of mattrasses and blankets for the night. There was a tiny kitchen with a gas stove and lots of cooking gear. The owners were nice and offered to bring firewood. What we did not like but might be easily fixable: The fridge was not working, the kitchen and bathroom had no working lights. This small cottage, which fits for 5 adults, offered a very realistic Bedouin experience. The house was cosy and carefully decorated. We loved morning talks with a friendly owner who prepared for us a traditional delicious breakfast. There is a nice terrace and view to relax while drinking tea/coffee. Place is big in a quiet and nice area but you need a car you have to know that their is nothing around. Could be good if it was more clean.
