Hotel Bison — Hotel in Biashara ward

I'm glad that I only paid for a one night stay in this hotel. The room was spacious, the food was good and I was happy to see DSTV on telly. However, the hotel also has a bar which played loud music till late at night and I could hear bar patrons talking loudly. Then in the morning, there is a church was using loud speakers for its early morning service which started at around 6 A.M. So the loud noise from the bar kept me awake till late at night and the church woke me up early in the morning. To be honest, I did not sleep well.||Then there was extremely hot water coming out of the instant shower, something I could not understand because there was plenty of water. Anyway, since I had only paid for one night, I decided not to be fussy. I showered with cold water. I also noticed that the bathroom drainage needed some plumbing work.||Though the room was spacious, it lacked a table/ desk that one could use to work at night. Furthermore, the internet connection was weak. My room also lacked a mosquito net.||I definitely won't be going back there and I will not recommend it to someone who is out on a business trip and needs a peaceful night after a long...

False advertising. The rooms online look nothing in reality. The place is old and worn out and could use some remodeling. The showers have no pressure and the bed felt like it could break any time. If you go on a Saturday expecting to sleep in on Sunday forget it. The bar has a DJ and the loud music can be heard from the rooms. On Sunday morning you will be awaken from your deep sleep before 6am, by a nearby church who for some reason think if they are worshipping the whole neighborhood...

My review on this hotel is that it is good for small functions like social meetings and music functions. The youth will enjoy the place more because of the loud music.They have rooms as well but I have not seen them.The have functions most times so having a business meeting might not be a good idea on the weekends. The food is good and very affordable. A good place to meet with old friends and chat. I enjoyed my stay. Cheers...
