Located in the heart of Nakuru town, Midland Hotel is a nice place to spend a night, or two while visiting places around Nakuru. The hotel is located next to the Nairobi-Eldoret highway and the railway line, which reminisces the old colonial times. Social amenities; supermarkets, pharmacies, banks, cabs … are just across the road.

The rooms are spacious and elegantly furnished, and especially the suites (see images) in the newly constructed wing. The mahogany bed is particularly comfy and the rooms are noise-proof, so you won’t get distracted from outside, even if the hotel is next to a major highway. Telephones and cabled televisions are available in all rooms.

The restaurant offers tasty meals and the waiters are friendly and willing to help. The hotel manager was particularly concerned of our comfort and ensured we were having the best of our visit. Conference facilities are available and the hotel has a nice lawn for relaxation.
