Beach View Hotel — Hotel in City of Kisumu

Well I found this place via bookings.com and had a night stay ...due to corona pandemic I couldn't extend my stay as kisumu and the rest of the country is under lockdown and restricted movement past 7pm ..food and drinks had to be served in the room ...the room was okay and value for money however the wifi was weak and not much to watch on tv since it's only local channels .the staff was very helpful despite the quarantine order ..I had requested for flowers in the room which was not granted ...security has improved in this place as per previous reviews ...CCTV cameras and a guard ..the place is private and has a welcoming entrance ...drinks and food are available too and breakfast is inclusive ...should I go to kisumu again I shall definitely spend it here ..all in all my experience was good I can't complain .maybe next time the experience will be better...

I was looking for a place for an overnight stay after running errands in Kisumu so I wanted an affordable place. I choose Beach view hotel kisumu.||Firstly, here is no view of any beach from the hotel. Most rooms were not ready by the time I arrived.||After 20 minutes I was showed to my room, it had cobwebs, the floor was not clean, the sheet had stains on it and the bathroom sink did not drain water. The room did not have fresh towels and getting a receptionist at night was difficult. ||Breakfast was buffet but I was limited to one serving of each item, which was weird and on asking why I was not told. Food is somewhat costly so you would rather eat outside of the hotel. ||It is not a good place but with work it can be a good...

Nice hotel near the lake. The name is misleading given that the street in which the hotel is located is in a maze of a residential area (not anywhere near a beach) and the hotel definitely does not have any beach view.

The staff is friendly though and the rooms are spacious. Breakfast was included in the rate of the room but I had to leave early in the morning so I asked if I could get breakfast in the evening instead. The staff was really accommodating and they gave me a plate of food wrapped in foil. The cost for a double room was fair for...
