Hotel Palmers Kisumu — Hotel in City of Kisumu

I booked my stay from 12th May 2019 onwards.The following day on the 13th,I got back into my room at 5:30 pm and slept early.At around 8:00pm,I woke up in a panic amid banging and kicking of my door and some people ordering me to open.Not sure about what was going on,I called a colleague who was in another room to come rescue me before opening the door.finally I opened and some people entered the room and ransacked my belongings,overturned the mattress,checked under the bed,moved from locker to toilet to window and made a mess of tmy room.All this was done by about five men as I watched in disbelief.After the ordeal was over,I inquired what was going on and I was informed that some thieves had broken into some of the rooms and made away with laptops and electronics and had been captured by CCTV footage.The persons searching my room i came to learn were actually the victims of the theft and had been directed to my room by some security personnel.Mark you,the hotel has CCTV on every floor.I decided to complain and to view the CCTV footage.The camera that had captured the thieves was camera no.15 which is on a different floor from mine .The camera showed the thieves going to room 73 which is on the right of the corridor,yet my room is on a different floor on the left side of the corridor.Basically,after reviewing the CCTV footage,the thieves had actually opened the rooms with keys ,picked the items and walked out of the hotel calmly with their loot about 30 minutes earlier as was clearly seen.So the,why did the management allow my room to be ransacked by the victims/strangers banging my door and shouting for all to hear, and not by security or police?Why did they make the most obvious mistake of ransacking a room on a different floor from where camera 15 is and worse of all on the left side and not on the right as clearly visible on the CCTV footage?.Finally,upon picking the booking card for room booked by the thieves the phone number on the card was not going through.For me,PALMERS IS A NO GO ZONE.Let them put enough security measures,competent security and respectful staff.As am writing this,I got no apology as the staff felt justified to conduct the humiliating act yet the cctv footage clearly showed the thieves getting away through the reception area 30...
