I recently heard about a deeply troubling incident at Millimani Resort in Kisumu, which has left me with serious concerns about the safety and privacy of guests. A friend of mine was harassed on three separate occasions by a staff member—a dark-skinned lady whose name she wasn’t sure of (it could be Emily or Milly).
The most alarming incident occurred after my friend finished swimming. This staff member forcefully entered her private changing space without permission, accusing her of doing something wrong. This behaviour is not only invasive but also completely unacceptable. Guests should feel safe and respected at all times, especially in private spaces like changing rooms.
This kind of conduct is a serious violation of privacy and raises significant concerns about guest safety at your establishment. I urge the management to take immediate disciplinary action against the staff member involved and put measures in place to ensure such incidents never happen again. Until this issue is addressed, I can not recommend Millimani Resort to anyone seeking a safe and respectful environment.
I hope you take this feedback seriously and take steps to protect the privacy and dignity...

Read moreThis is a very basic hotel. The rooms are average but clean and there was an AC in our room (thank goodness). The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were only there for 2 nights so it wasn't a very big deal and we pulled through. It's certainly not a place I would stay if I was on vacation. We were there over the weekend for a wedding and they have a pool area where they have a live band/DJ that goes on until the wee hours of the morning... Thankfully, we were so exhausted that we just knocked out but the noise was definitely annoying. I can't imagine what families with kids were going through. The only meal we had there was breakfast, which was quite average, unsurprisingly. The resort is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood and has the potential to really increase its patronage if they can make a few...
