ELLE GARDENS KISUMU — Restaurant in City of Kisumu

I took my wife here and I'm sad to say it was a letdown. The place itself is very nice and relaxing and well designed. The food, though, was very disappointing. I had wet fry chicken, she had goat. First, the size of the portions are quite small for the price (2 small pieces of chicken, and a handful of goat meat with bones), maybe half a cup of skuma each. None of it was hot but room temperature. The chicken was Ok but very tough with not much meat on it. The goat meat was very, very tough and dry as if were cooked too fast (meat has to be slow cooked to make it soft). The cappuccino I had wasn't very hot either. It was a "triple" but in a small single size cup. Like I say, the place is nice with a nice atmosphere, the waitress kind and attentive, but the quality of the food and high prices for what you get make it overall disappointing. I don't mind paying for good food that is hot, tasty, ample, and of good quality. But not this. I hope this helps them to improve so others have a good experience...

Lovely spot right in the middle of town. Opposite West End Mall. You can just walk into the place right off the street. They have such beautiful manicured green space and outdoor eating areas. Their indoor sitting areas are also very relaxed with plenty of space. They have done a good job of using space. The waiters are very friendly and serve you with a smile. The food is a bit pricey...

A beautiful place to eat relaxed. The bad is they dont served what you have ordered and they are not interested to solve the problem. I had ordered beef filet but i have gotten some thin meat and for the price of the beef filet. When you order for two persons, it happens you get to drink and to eat for one person only.
