We made a reservation for 2nights... Called 3 days prior to confirm if it still stands and was informed by the frontdesk personnel to check in from 12pm onwards on that material day.
12:30pm on the d-day we were there, only to be told that we checked in too early..that we should have made a call and said...(hey we are now on our way coming) Like 🤣🤣
We had to wait for lunch to be prepared....for 1hr plus.
Reception I'm used to being told how a place runs e.g breakfast, lunch , dinner is served at specific hours etc .But, zero on that! We were told to be checking around/ be on the lookout once food is served you go ahead.
Food. When making reservations, we were told they have a buffet but on the ground....hakuna buffet.😭 *food is served on first come first serve basis you have to run or else you will not eat. *If you are reserving on fullboard..on your accomodation fee, food is 1k. But it's not even worth it... !!!!
These place better have a bed package only if possible.
*They have no running restaurant. Like you cann't even have tea and a snack, you are told to wait for main dishes... Food is served on small portions. No starters, no fruits, you have to either have soda or water. *No sink for handwashing....!!!! You wash your hands from a tea urn and the dripping water splashes on your legs!!!!
We kept missing food daily because it's either they have no account of the no. of pple checking in to see what to prepare. Or wanakula pesa yetu bure!!
Day 2 we missed lunch and we were told to have mashed potatoes and meat and that other foods will be brought in.... We waited and waited..and ended up having potatoes and meat...photo attached 😭
Poor customer service.!!!! OMG!!! . Accomodation Deluxe cabin 4 instant shower wasn't working until day 2 of several complains it's when it was fixed! Cold rooms at night. Hot during the day
If you love your money, time kindly take it somewhere else.
This place if not worked on...from personnel to the services they offer it...
Read moreI had a great stay at Kentwood. The location is beautiful, with direct access to the lake, making it a peaceful and scenic getaway. The Deluxe rooms are spacious, though they lack cabinets for storage.
A few things to note:
The rooms can get quite hot during the day and cold at night, as there’s no fan or AC.
The mattresses are decent but could be more comfortable.
Avoid Cabin 1 if you’re looking for quiet—it’s next to a busy car wash that operates even at night.
On the plus side, the management is excellent, and the food is good (though not exceptional). One downside is that there’s no swimming pool on-site—you have to use the neighbor’s pool for a fee of 300.
Overall, a lovely place to relax by the lake, but a few improvements could make the experience...
