I’ve visited the hotel twice (Panorama Park Hotel Naivasha).
⭐ First Visit – Around August 2024: I ordered the platter for four — the food and service were excellent. The milkshake was wonderful 😊 The environment is calm and welcoming — I marked as a must-revisit 😊
🚩 Second Visit – 12th July 2025: I ordered the platter for two, which includes all items (meat, vegetables, rice, etc.) served as one main dish — excluding the milkshake and starter. The milkshake was once again top-notch — a must-order 😊 The meat was delicious — I nearly chewed off my fingers! 😊 The fish (that brown rod) was well done, and the vegetables (cabbage, kienyeji, and broccoli) were okay.
Unfortunately, the rest of the platter was a big letdown:
The rice was hard (leftover or so). My partner couldn’t eat hers, so I helped her finish it to avoid making a scene or waste my money! The potatoes looked great on the outside but were not properly cooked inside. The chicken was tasteless, and the raw tomato served with it was sour and didn’t taste fresh.
Overall, the food felt like a previously rejected or sleepover meal — not freshly prepared.
⚠️ Service Flow & Meal Experience: While we were enjoying our milkshakes, I ordered the platter for two. The server rushed to bring the starter. We politely asked her to return it since we couldn’t handle both the milkshake and starter at once.
After finishing our milkshakes, we planned to take a short walk around the pool area before eating. I informed one of the staff members that I’d like to pay for everything upfront, go for a walk/pictures and return to eat later — he confirmed he’d pass the message.
To our surprise, instead of the bill, the platter was brought out almost immediately — suspiciously fast compared to the 2024 visit. The starter was never brought back, and we weren’t given the space or time for our short walk to take pictures and for the milkshake to descend.
It honestly felt like we were being rushed to eat with little regard for proper service flow or hospitality (Confirms my case about the food). This was disappointing, especially for a returning customer.

Read moreI did not enjoy my experience because at check in there was an error that was made concerning the payment for my room, at that point I had not even brought my luggage into the hotel. I requested for a refund of the excess money paid to which I was told by staff that there are absolutely no refunds. All the while, the manager did not have the courtesy to come speak with me face to face concerning this issue and opted to only communicate with me via desk staff. I explicitly told them I wanted a refund of the excess amount paid. I repeatedly told them that a credit note for the surplus amount would not do as I did not plan on ever returning to stay at their facility however that is all they offered.|Tip-triple check to ensure that the front desk and the accountant are calculating with the same rate. Please remember that they insist on absolutely no refunds even if you have not checked into your room or used their facilities; even if the error is on their part.|The first room I was assigned had a leak in the bathroom. Second room I was assigned had a broken window latch, so windows could be opened and anyone could gain access into the room even with a locked door. When I brought it up, I was informed that I could call the front desk should there be any issues or safety concerns at night.|Then the room I was assigned was not sound proof so I could hear vehicle traffic and the train all through the night which made the business travel quite difficult.|Tip-If you are a light sleeper, request for a room that is not as close to the main road|There are a few enjoyable elements of the hotel such as the scenery, their brewed coffee and some of their staff...
