Malindi Chrystal Palace — Hotel in Malindi

We booked a full villa in June 2019.. to arrive end Dec 2019 for 1 full week. We were 4 adults and 4 kids - 2 kids below 7yrs. We called the guy (Geoffrey) before leaving Nairobi.. and we informed him every step of the way.. check in is 12 noon.. we reached at 5pm.. Upon arrival in the evening the villa wasn't ready. The people staying there before us were still in house.. and we weren't informed.. yet we told him we will reach in the next 1 hour.. ||Service was pathetic!! Geoffrey was very rude and looked drunk.. there was no customer care.. then the villa had a computer in the living room and we said that we had booked the whole villa to our convenience.. and since our kids are small what happens if they knock the computer? Geoffrey being the arrogant self he is.. ||told us that was his office and that the computer is not going to move and that he and his wife have access to the villa whenever they want.. and that they normally give out the rooms individually but since we booked the whole villa they were ok to let it out to us... and that the living area is common to anyone and everyone... so how is it a private villa? Oh and those people who were to check out were still around and Geoffrey and his wife were preparing a meal for them before they left!!! So we told Geoffrey that it's not fair and that we have been informing him every step of the way as to where we had reached!! and when questioned further.. he asked us to leave the place... 😲😲 so my husband told Geoffrey.. in other words you have f* us up... we have come with kids.. he told us... HERE IS YOUR CHEQUE AND I OPEN THE MAIN GATE FOR YOU!!!!||We were all shocked... he literally kicked us out for questioning him.. ||THE CHEQUE BOUNCED!!! after banking... and luckily we were still in malindi.. we went to the cop station and when he was summoned he started playing cat and mouse games!! And when he eventually came.. he told the cop that he told us dont bank the cheque I dont have money!! He never mentioned anything as such... all he wanted was us to get out of the place... ||2 months down the line!!! We are still fighting for our money!!||||I would not even give it 1/2 star......

I spent two hell night there with the following experience and I will appreciate for all the people to know what when round and took place and you can give in your feedback on that Before I booked the place I was told all ACS are working yet they were on but no cooling on it No room had a lock in it feels very unsecure on and though The room that I was in did only have a 46bed and looking as us we at our own place we sleep at a 66bed The rooms had cobwebs on it with some number on spiders moving around For swimming when we had suggested we will be swimming at certain time they put on the medicine and told us once we were already in the pool swimming to be out After a miserable stay at the resort we complained and ask for a refund as we had a lot on the first night the supervisor of the resort comes and convinced us that she is sorry and all will be fine we asked her in regards to compensation so she said all services by u will be provided well and we shall extend your check out time to 5-6 pm . When leaving the property I receive an invoice that I have to pay an extra night charge honestly is it fair after having a rough stay with the hotel and...
