The hotel, rooms, location was just awesome but the way one of the staff behaved to us was awful and disgusting. We reached Bishkek on 16th of August around 7am and they booked a sedan for us without our knowledge and we had to pay way more and when told her about it she literally told us "who asked you to get into?", which was rude. She was one of the first person we interacted with when we came to Kyrgyzstan and they way she behaved made us rethink whether we need to book another hotel to stay. She destroyed our very first day and still we talk about how disgusting was her behaviour and is this the way she is supposed to behave to the guests at that hotel. She didn't even allow us to use the wash room. Dear Koisha hotel management, please take care of this cause we really liked your hotel, rooms and other staffs except the one who was there on 16th august 7am. We have travelled other countries and stayed in number of hotels but this is the very first worst experience and service ever, such an ill mannered human being. At first we thought whole Kyrgyzstan people will be like her but understood she is the only person in the whole country. Next time when you hire a staff please make sure that the person don't have an attitude problem and are well behaved. She really need a training on how to behave a d...
Read morePerfect place to kick off, end, or even better continue your trip through Central Asia.||Koisha knows how to help guests feel at home and relax, airy Moroccan feel, courtyards with arbours filled with comfy rugs & cushions. Staff keep things well maintained. Dorms are cosy, washrooms good, WiFi fine, security also.||Location by Osh market - a local institution - and plenty eateries, currency exchanges nearby, big supermarket 5 mins along the way.||When I say Koisha, talking about four girls who keep this place run in a friendly efficient manner: Asya, Maria, Ayana & Kumushai. They will keep you right, print documents, check local info, night & day on hand to assist you as best they can. They have decent English, nothing is too much trouble: wonderful attitude.||Bishkek itself is a leafy gardeny city, hee-haw to really sight-see as such, traffic can be slow, yet drivers are usually respectful. Kyrygyz is more about the outdoors of mountain & lake scenery, but Bishkek's a decent place to kick off or even better continue your trip along some silk roads.||But enough of Bishkek: this is about how lovely Koisha Hostel is: thank you, ladies. A pleasure...
Read moreWonderful place, a little oasis to relax. We ended up extending our stay for a week as we enjoyed so much the facilities and it was the perfect place to rest from our travels. The location is a bit out of the centre but easy to walk, bus or taxi and it’s just next to Osh bazaar, handy for fruits etc. We stayed both in the big and standard rooms, both comfortable but we preferred the standard second floor as very quiet. Good size, ultra clean, comfy bed, big windows, great shower, quiet AC. In good condition and felt more luxurious than we expected. The best, however, is the big outdoor area with plenty of areas to snooze, work, have a snack. Daybed platforms are dotted around a leafy garden. There are outdoor kitchens if you want to have drinks or even full meals - we didn’t but saw people cooking. There was also parking and bike racks but we didn’t use it. The staff were super friendly, helpful and spoke good English so it was easy to communicate. All in all, a relaxing well thought place for travellers! There is the added benefit of a bar Riad next door with...
