Probably the best thing about this place is the staff! They speak good English and went out of their way to help us (a pair of bikepackers). It was super easy and convenient to communicate via WhatsApp text from the US as well as when we arrived to coordinate the shuttle (1000 Som) to the hotel from the airport at 2am local time. They also let us store our bike bags for two weeks while we toured around the country, which was extraordinarily helpful, and they were kind enough to let us stay and rest for a little while after check out while we waited for our evening bus out to the start point for our bikepacking trip.
Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, showers are hot with plenty of hot water, and breakfast is EXCELLENT. Coffee, tea, juice, fruit, blini, salads, milk and cereal, breads, cheese, omelettes... it was really awesome and a great deal for the price!
The location isn't super central but it's a short (10 min or so) taxi ride from the main downtown area and taxis are cheap and abundant. It's also walking distance from Osh Bazaar, which is a fun way to spend an hour or two wandering around.
The only downside we experienced was the wifi being a little spotty (it went out on the third floor where our room was during our first stay) but the other floors worked so we were able to connect that way. Overall, I definitely recommend giving this...
Read moreI was staying for a week of business trip in Bishkek with my colleagues. Rooms are good and it has everything you need but I was fully unsatisfied with the quality of towels, they seemed very “tired” and not fresh enough. I couldn’t use them until they finally brought newer towels which were visibly fresh and clean. Also, the day I checked in, bedsheets visibly seemed not clean and fresh like it wasn’t changed after previous guests. I had to ask them to change it. Also, in the bathroom ceiling there was a hole, which seemed odd. My honest recommendation to hotel management is to level up the essential needs like fresh clean bedsheets and towels and please fix the ceiling in bathroom, I used to think that there might be hidden camera while taking a shower. Other than that all is fine and front desk staff were nice and polite. I wouldn’t recommend to walk alone in the evening in this area and stay away from nearby cafes, honestly food were low quality and not tasty, you’d better walk couple streets up and you’ll find much better food, we used to go to besh-manty cafe all the time, it was...
Read morePros: -1 out of 2 employees that I met was welcoming and accommodating. -Breakfast was delivered to my room as a morning wake up call- that was nice, although I wish the breakfast had more variety like maybe a pastry. -The TVs were modern enough that I could use things like YouTube to watch content in my own language. -Closely located to the main market and near several grocery stores and restaurants. -They accommodated a late check out.
Cons: -The front gate would often lock when I was trying to leave which would then force me to go back to the main desk for help. -My floors were very dusty. -Several basic amenities were missing, such as wash clothes for the shower and no shampoo in the shower dispenser. Although they did provide toothbrush kits. -The many steps to get to the door made it hard to bring in my heavy luggage, having staff on hand to assist would be great- or a ramp to wheel in...
