KURSHI HOTEL & SPA — Hotel in Jūrmala

Stayed there for 2 nights in high season July. It is recently built budget hotel in the middle of Jurmala. Although its location in the town and close to shops, supermarket, pharmacy and local bus stops just opposite hotel, the sea beach is only 5 minutes to walk. Not sure if hotel was full of guests as it always was very quiet. ||Design of hotel and rooms is simple (modern style I guess) but it has almost all you need for relaxing sea break. Room was spacious with comfy large bad. Bathroom has standard bathtub with moving glass. unfortunately it was not sealed good enough and water was leaked out during shower. Breakfast was good, with variety of local food. ||Hotel also has holiday houses, that look very good from outside. And outside is kids playground safely surrounded by hotel's buildings. ||Receptionists were extremely helpful but other staff (at breakfast particularly) need more smile and training. ||I would recommend this hotel for families...

Kursi Hotel is a perfect place if you are travelling with family. They offer quite a unique range of rooms to facilitate your needs. In our case we were offered a two-storey room with master bedroom on the ground floor and kids room upstairs. I honestly have never seen this before and I was pleasantly surprised/amazed with such set up. Rooms are super modern loft style with views facing the inside of the complex ( in our case) which nonetheless creates a feel of a nice gated community. Complex also has their own private playground, spa facilities, restaurant. The Hotel itself is conveniently located roughly 100-150 meters from the Beach. During full on season I'd say the place is super busy as it located in a perfect spot close to Beach and Touristy areas like Jomas street.

I stayed in Kurshi hotel for 2 months while I was on business trip in Jurmala. I was super satisfied with the comfort of the room, clearness, breakfast, but most of all I was very happy with service provided, especially all ladies on reception. I was happy to write the best review possible until I was accused of stealing the hotel property- bathrobe day after my departure.||It was reported to my employer i worked for in Jurmala and they questioned my personality. The whole situation cause me a trouble and very unpleasant outcome. Because of the nature of my job, I worked in very prestigious places and stayed at most luxurious hotels but never had a desire to take someone's belonging. I left very disappointed and thinking to take further actions...
