Martas Nams — Hotel in Ventspils

My son, his wife and I traveled to Latvia by car from Estonia. We had reservations at this guest house. It was super. It was very clean and comfortable. It was nicely decorated and included a family room with a TV. There were several bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. A cozy bistro nearby was recommended to us but we chose to buy grocery items and fix our own breakfast since we had kitchen facilities.|| It was completely fenced with a remote controlled gate. It had parking inside the gated area. This was a beautiful neighborhood and we felt safe even if we didn't have a locked gate. The staff was friendly and very helpful with sightseeing tips. In September of 2013 I was on a Latvia tour with two my friends. We needed a place to sleep in Ventspils. We got a room here for 3 persons. Its located a few blocks from the beach.
