My recent visit to Shallalat Anjar Hotel and Restaurant was nothing short of spectacular. Nestled in the heart of Lebanon, this establishment offers a truly unique and memorable experience.

The star of the show is undoubtedly the food. Chef Henry's culinary expertise shines through in every dish. His creations are a perfect blend of traditional Lebanese flavors and modern gastronomy. Each plate is a work of art, both visually stunning and bursting with flavor. I can confidently say this was some of the best food I've had in Lebanon, if not anywhere.

One of the most charming aspects of Shallalat Anjar is its resident ducks. Watching these adorable creatures waddle around the property adds a touch of whimsy and natural beauty to the already picturesque setting. It's clear the staff takes great care of these feathered friends, which speaks volumes about the establishment's commitment to its environment.

The service was impeccable throughout my stay. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort.

If you’re looking for a mix of horrible customer service and management, along with sleeping in your car, i would recommend this place. I booked through the website and got a confirmation well before my booking day. While on my way there the day of the booking, i called to inform them that i will be checking in an hour late, and to my surprise no room was available for me! Their excuse was that i made the reservation when they were already fully booked and that i should have dismissed the confirmation email and directly called them to confirm the reservation. Not only did they not acknowledge the trouble that their lack of professionalism and horrible website management caused me, but their overwhelmingly disappointing staff, who is in dire need of a communication skills with a bit of common sense, accused me of falsely claiming attending a wedding in the area and needing the room for the night. Overall, i would highly extremely beyond words advise you to stay away...

Coming from Canada, we are a group of 17 people who explored Challalat Anjar Restaurant. It is an absolute delight for anyone looking to experience authentic Lebanese cuisine in a beautiful natural setting. Located near the famous waterfalls of Anjar, the ambiance is both serene and refreshing – perfect for a relaxing meal with family or friends.

The food is exceptional! Every dish is full of flavor and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The grilled meats were perfectly seasoned and juicy, and the mezze selection was generous and delicious – especially the hummus, tabbouleh, and stuffed grape leaves. The service was warm and attentive, making us feel right at home.
