I personally had a relatively average time at this resort. It was a good experience, from the pool to the drinks offered, and most importantly, its location. However, I do have some notes. First and foremost, I was not allowed to use my floatie in the pool, and was asked to use it strictly at the beach, which is a point I’ll get to in a few. Secondly, why are we preventing burkinis from the pool in the year 2025? Are those who prefer to follow their religion prohibited from having a good time? Do they tarnish the image that this resort is trying to make for itself? To me, it comes off as discriminatory and unreasonable, especially since this country is explicitly and massively diverse religiously. Apart from that, the beach that Sawary offers is unsanitary and dirty. I would never step foot there, if I’m honest, which is why most of my time spent there was at the pool. Lastly, I would like to address the passive aggressive staff that works there. It’s not difficult to be nice and kind to people. The world needs more kindness. Let’s try to be less negative! All in all, fair experience, but a lot of room for improvement.

We spent a day at Sawary in Batroun this past Friday and had a pleasant experience overall. We chose the day pass for the beach and found it very family-friendly. The sandy shore was clean and comfortable, making it a safe and enjoyable spot for children to play — definitely one of the highlights for us as parents. The facilities are practical without being over the top. The beach area is simple but well-maintained, and the restaurant is conveniently close by. The food was good and service was smooth, which made things easier with kids around. This isn’t the kind of resort that focuses on luxury or high-end details, but that’s not necessarily a downside. It offers a straightforward, relaxed environment that works perfectly for families who want a calm, easy day by the sea. Overall, it was exactly what we needed: not too fancy, but comfortable, enjoyable, and well-suited for a family outing with two young kids.

Nice place for family but today was overcrowded. There is large pool for the adults, small pool for the kids but it was dirty. One women asked the manager to change the water of the kids pool because it was very dirty. There is also one additional pool for the adults with jaccuzi on the board. There is also beach but it was not clean. We ordered hamburger 5$ it was good, drinks were for 4$ average. You can rent a pedalo 5$ per 30minutes, also jet ski is available for rent. They have also a beach bar that opens only after 6 pm called ile beach bar. The entrance fee of the pool was 10$ per adults and 5$ per child no matter their age. It is a nice place but today was very overcrowded

as someone who likes batroun for its tourism and hotels like san stephanos resort, this one has disappointed me the most and is also the hotel that i dislike the most now, and i see it as a cheap ripoff of san stephano.

first of all, you can tell it is bad from the outside with the grey and blue painted concrete, and if you take a closer look, you start to feel a bad omen coming in that hotel.

first of all, when we entered, we saw the women who work there, and they looked at us like we were not welcome.

and the outside, the pool is decent but it is very crowded and instead of seeing kids actually enjoying their time, i saw kids crying over getting their eyes wet

and the beach is the 2nd worst part of this place, it is super small and there is barely any sand, and the sea cannot make you relax for 5 minutes, because it is mossy and disgusting, and WHAT RESORT SHOVES A 40 YEAR OLD METAL PIPE GROWING MOSS AT THE BOTTOM!?

sorry for the anger, but the room is honestly crap, it is super small and to make it “luxurious” they just shoved some grey wooden planks like its nothing, and the walls are cracked without any effort put into it

even the beds disgust you! in the right kids bed i saw a stain that barely camouflaged into the bed, so i took out a little bit from the blanket that is covering the mattress, and i saw urine, like straight up yellow color, that was gross!

even the elevator would risk your life, instead of having the elevator like the ones who open automatically and cover the walls so that we don’t touch the walls while the elevator is going down or up, they made you open the literal door and they don’t even have a door to cover the walls, meaning that you might get pulled up or down if you touch the walls while the elevator is moving.

but oh my god how dirty the bathroom is, no toothbrush or no toothpaste, not even shampoo!, and the shower is straight up crap! it was so narrow i could barely fit into the shower, and literally, NO SHAMPOO NOR BODY WASH, just hand sanitizers, like its so mean of you guys to treat us like that!

shame on you sawary! this ain’t a 1, its a 0, eat this anyway,...

I usually don’t like to share about my bad experiences in life but this one threw me off my chair, since I have never even experienced something close to that in Sweden or any other place in the world! It has taking me a few days to process the horrific experience I had to go through at @sawaryresort .. & the thought of that discriminations still takes place is just horrible. Me and my cousins had booked 8 rooms /bungalows at this resort and we were all very excited and looking forward to enjoy our stay. When we went for a swim, I was immediately told in the rudest manner to leave the pool since I was ”wearing cloth”, notice that I was not wearing cloth I was wearing a BURKINI, which is made in the same material as a bikini. I was then told that I was only allowed to swim in the beach or to leave the resort. I tried to ask to understand why I wasn’t allowed to swim in the pool like everyone else and the only thing they could say was that that was the rule. And when we asked if they could show us where this rule was written, none of them could show us anything. And the manager by the name Tony agreed that it was something that he had come up with and that he couldn’t waste his time on an issue like this.

A day before we checked in one of us asked to cancel the reservation and they said that the money was non-refundable, but after the burkini incident they offered to refund us. They really just wanted us to leave. This is absolutely unacceptable and needs to stop. I am calling you out @sawaryresort and as we mentioned to you before we left, you haven’t lost customers from Lebanon alone, you have lost customers from Sweden, US, Canada, Kuwait, Dubai and many more.

I really want to thank my cousins for standing up for my rights, and your act showed not only love for us hijabis but for the whole islamic ummah. Thank you for choosing to leave that horrible and islamophobic place!

We are living in a cancelling era and we are cancelling you out! يا عيب شوم...

starts with a wedding invitation to my BF wedding, and I booked the rooms in February 2018, confirmed payment. Speed up to wedding day, I get a call while on the road telling me I need to check out at 1230, mmmm, Honest mistake, they apologize and I arrive there. I told them I didn’t need an extra bed because we are short one person and the kids are sleeping in the large bed in their room. The get worked up on a refund and had to call the management to refund me 30 dollars, quite the empowered employees, then I ask them if I can move into a bungalow because my kids will be next to me in the wedding venue and I could enjoy the wedding without having to check on them and I that they didn’t have to refund me I would use the 50 dollars to eat at their restaurant, to my surprise the employee refused claiming that the restaurant is a separate venue and they had separate financial resources. Which considering I have a very long temper I disregarded. Then they told me that they had lost one of my pay slips and I had to provide a payment proof of my second room, which I made over the phone, hence another employee mishap, again I disregarded to which I get another call from management that I had to provide proof again, while I did show them the payment over the phone app but told them I couldn’t send them the info because of security reasons, anyways I’d recommend an Airbnb over this hotle anytime of the day big rooms with zero use for space and no offered amenities such as hot water kettle of anything close but clean, but the reception employee work there for the money and goes by the word if I was the owner would’ve done something about your request but I don’t care literally….. Anyways when visiting batroon get an abnb and drop the so called resorts they...
