Meduna — Hotel in Druskininkai

We choose this hotel ONLY because they had 50% discount for the Snow Arena day tickets. When we booked it we had another choice with better price, but due to this discount we decided to stay here. ||||Then, when we arrived we were told that only 10% possible...So we were really pissed off. We looked up another hotels/hostels and surely didn't get good pices. ||||Finally we got 30% discount and 10% disc from the hotel price. The mood was awful, but when we saw our "room" it was every worse. Huge TV right under your head...space only for bed and very cheap and bad mattress. ||||The only thing we enjoyed was breakfast, but for money you pay to the hotel you could buy a nice coffe at coffee inn and food in the nearby shop. ||||The web page still was saying that you get 50% discount. Disrespect to Snow Arena and to this hotel for not updating web page (which probably takes few min to do!).||||Druskininkai by the way is SUCH a lovely...

This hotel is very basic and for the same price you can deffinately get something better in Druskininkai. We were traveling with friends and we had 3 double rooms. Two of them were very small, you barelly had space to get out of bed, the rooms were poorly lit, you only had a lamp standing on the floor, no reading lamps by the bed, only some weird dispenser soap in the bathrooms, breakfast had a very small selection - not the things you would usually exepect from a 3* hotel and you can hear everything what s going on in the next room, the walls are paper thin. This hotel was probably nice ONCE, now everything is kind of oldish - brown stains on the carpets and bedspreads, old ugly yellowish showercurtain - disgusting to even touch it. But the hotel has friendly staff and a great location, it's very central and everything is close to it. But I wouldn't go there again as I have stays in Druskininkai in much nicer places...

We came here due to the discounts offered to snow arena and aquapark. We spent here just one night, cause our trip was a short weekend one, but we left satisfied with the service, the breakfast, the cleanliness and the location of it! Breakfast sausages were cold, but otherwise much better selection than experienced elsewhere in Lithuania.
