Staying in this hotel was a very, very disappointing experience.

First of all when arriving late at night no one explained how to open the barrier to park the car, I had to call hotel admin via booking contact info. Hotel admin couldn’t solve the problem and asked me to call a phone number “indicated in the barrier...”. After calling that number barrier finally opens...

At check-in, receptionist English skills were poor, it took this employee a long time to process the check in. Receptionist had problems explaining pretty much everything. She tried hard asking for car license plates... after providing this information she also wanted a credit card number which wasn’t asked in advance before checking in. She also didn’t clarify the booking wasn’t paid. She didn’t explain any of the hotel services and facilities, what would be opened or closed due to Covid restrictions. Receptionist didn’t explain how breakfast would be served and what was possible to do and not to do in the hotel. In summary, Soviet Union customer service style where customers are treated like a problem and in a disrespectful and condescending manner.

At the time of check out it happens that the hotel doesn’t accept American Express cards, yes a hotel chain of this caliber doesn’t accept Amex cards, felt like I was still in Soviet Union where western services and financial products weren’t accepted... When explaining to the receptionist that I can only pay with Amex card bc I’m im business trip she didn’t know what to do, I had to ask receptionist to call manager to sort out problem. After calling hotel admin a couple times, hotel admin didn’t answer (while experiencing such incompetence by Loop Hotel staff I was in urgency to leave, hotel receptionist didn’t care about this and kept insisting about payment). During discussion about payment another customer was waiting who exchanged communication with receptionist, both receptionist and customer laughed about situation; a compete and utterly lack of respect from receptionist. Such receptionist should be fired.

Booking.con should delist this hotel from...

Close to airport. Surprisingly cosmopolitan for a Baltic country. Most staff here speak English, albeit haltingly. Great breakfast buffet. Never eaten so much salmon (I don't know if it's Scottish, or Belarusian for all I know) in my life in one stretch. For lunch and dinner there's a menu written in English. Don't even try to decipher the Lithuanian/Russian menu. You could succeed partially doing this in France or Spain with the local menu. Not here. To avoid the expensive bottled water (€2:50) I visited a nearby supermarket and bought 3 bottles of what I thought was normal Evian-type water. Turned out to be sparkling water, and one actually tasted funny I couldn't drink it: my colleague did, and said it probably was tonic water. I had to specifically ask for STILL WATER before I got the right product. Everything is written in Lithuanian which I understand is even harder than Dutch or Russian to learn. Very friendly and nice staff here, no question. The rooms (at least the one I was in) was the quaintest I'd ever been in, with a sort of loft housing the kingsize bed and yet another flat screen television set. If you're arthritic or have cardio issues, climbing the loft several times a day might not be for you. Not to mention coming down more than once at night to use the bathroom, if you have an overactive bladder. I'd definitely recommend this place though, and...

I had high hopes for this hotel given the previous reviews, but the service was by far the worst I have received in the 40 odd countries I have visited. The sockets in my room did not work, the hairdryer was faulty, the batteries in the TV remote were dead, the bath towels had seen better days, the shower had no pressure whatsoever and the door to the room didn’t close properly. I checked into this hotel after travelling from the U.K. to Vilnius for a reunion - a special occasion. I reported the powerissues to the reception desk via the phone in the room 3 times. The girl was not at all apologetic or helpful and offered no reassurance the power issues would be fixed - no comfort when I’m stood in a towel with wet hair and my reunion and check out fast approaching. |A maintenance man eventually attended the room and became very angry when I tried to point out the problem and a solution to him. He ended up leaving the room without saying a word. |I checked out and found the receptionist more interested in texting on her mobile, which she didn’t look up from.|I understand issues arise, but it’s how you deal with them and this hotel wasn’t equipped. The staff need customer service training as a priority and rooms need to be checked better by housekeeping pre guest occupation. Awful experience and really ruined the celebrations I arrived for! I would avoid...

Stayed at for over a month. 5 minutes to Vilnius International Airport by car or roughly 20 minutes of walking distance. There’s a general store “Maxima” and a gas station market “Circle K” to shop at 5 to 10 minutes distance on foot. Wheelchair ramps for people with disabilities and an elevator. You can request a taxi at the reception or you can call a Bolt cab for a ride to city center which takes about 15 minutes. There are limited options for places to eat in the vicinity but some of them are: Cafe Wings Fat Cloud Bistro (in the Avion Group building next to the hotel) HES Burger And of course restaurant in the hotel “Fat Cloud” The restaurant does not offer many choices but is still ok, prices are a bit higher though. As for rooms; I have stayed in a loft room which was spacious and comfortable. All-you-can-eat breakfast is also really good if you don’t eat it everyday for a month like I did. The personnel are kind and helping (also highly presentable ^^). Thumbs up

I have never experienced this horrible customer service as well as the room. I had a room for a single quest . All the rooms of this time had a huge glass wall that faced an internal yard. This yard is an open location for hotel guests to drink, party, etc. There was a group of around 15 young people , not even hotel guests , that were singing in that yard. The windows has almost zero noice insulation . All the noice from the people who were partying in that yard was coming inside the room right through that glass wall. In was literally not possible to be inside the room , not even talking about sleeping. I asked the reception to change to room. Even though there were lots of free rooms in the hotel, they simply told me to call agoda and to deal with them. I have never experienced such an unprofessional stuff.
