PERI PERI — Restaurant in Vilnius

It's a easy accessible place, lots of parking places around, if it would be summer or good weather outside you could walk in its surroundings with kids, there are some small kids parks. The place is easily identifiable, it is in a building corner with the places' plaque name hanging on the entrance wall. Inside the layout it's simple and cosy, there are round tables for two and other rectangular ones up till 4 people I think. Takeaway is possible. Regarding the service, there were 3 waitress and they were able to communicate in English, they were friendly and attentive, the restaurant was full, this was a Saturday evening, from the order of food for two people (combo option) to the table it took a bit less than 30 min, it's good taking in consideration it was a main plate and 3 side dishes and a full restaurant. Chicken was very well done and tasty, it had an outside crunchy layer, the darker chicken meat indicates it is probably a country grown chicken. Side dishes we selected were, rice, french fries and black beans with chorizo, all good but my preference is for the black beans and chorizo, I recommend it. For desert we took the Portuguese "pastel de nata" I wanted to try one of my country's famous bakery made in the restaurant, it was not bad though should be more crunchy an flatter and less pricy, it's too much for such a small pastry, I guess if they reduce the size and price they could sell more of these with more quality and get the same income. Peri Peri used to be my favorite restaurant in Vilnius, I went quite often and after I moved out of Lithuania I kept craving it. Last time I visited I learnt that they changed locations, which was sad as the previous location was very easy to get to, now its very hard to get to unless you drive. The location itself also is not what it used to be, quite small and not as cozy...

The menu also had slight changes, especially no fries unlike the other locations. But the food is still as good as it used to be. Very tasty and compared to other countries, quite cheap!

Inappropriate service. We ordered chicken wings and were served less then we asked. 23 instead of 28. When we asked the server what we can do about the issue she told us that the discount will be applied. Ok, cool everybody is happy. When we checked the bill, discount was applied to the lemonade (45 cents) and that's it. Went to the server again and she said she cannot do anything about it, because system automatically puts discounts.
