Le Renala — Hotel in Madagascar

Siamo arrivati all’hotel dopo averci gustato un bellissimo tramonto all’Avenue De Baobab. Il complesso è composto da bungalows ma anche da appartamenti e camere. Noi eravamo nella camera A5, appena dopo aver superato l’entrata. Essendo arrivati tardi e avendo deciso di mangiare in un ristorante al di fuori dell’hotel con la nostra guida, non abbiamo avuto molto tempo di guardarci attorno ma abbiamo notato che la nostra camera dava sul parcheggio delle auto, oltre ad un piccolo giardino. Appena entrati ci siamo trovati in una stanza molto grande ed abbastanza scura in quanto tutta rivestita di perline in legno (presumo palissandro), con un bagno altrettanto grande ma questo piastrellato (per fortuna) con ceramica chiara.||Nella camera vi era l’armadio, un bel tavolo, televisore appeso alla parete e sia la ventola a muro che il climatizzatore (cosa abbastanza rara). ||Essendo la stanza particolarmente calda ho pensato di accendere un po’ l’aria condizionata mentre ci facevamo la doccia e ci cambiavamo per la cena, solo che dopo circa 10 minuti è saltata la corrente, subito pensavo di aver sovraccaricato il contatore, poi ci siamo accorti che tutto il complesso era al buio e ci hanno avvertiti che era saltato il gruppo elettrogeno. ||A parte questo abbiamo dormito molto bene.||La mattina dopo abbiamo fatto un giretto tra i bungalows e sulla spiaggia, prima di fare colazione e ripartire, senza aver messo i piedi nell’acqua, alla volta di Antsirabe.||Carina la terrazza del ristorante tutta in legno con le colonne intarsiate e piacevolissima la vista sul mare.||Tutto attorno ai bungalows vi erano piante e fiori, mentre davanti le camere, oltre al giardinetto, vi erano dei totem molto belli raffiguranti figure femminili.||Anche se l’esperienza è stata molto limitata a noi è piaciuta e ci siamo trovati molto bene.||La cena a base di pesce, crostacei ed aragosta presso Chef Alain (poco distante dall’hotel) è stata ottima, abbondante...

We stayed in this hotel twice, on our way to and from Bekopa, and both times really enjoyed our stay. The bungalows are right on the beach, so even arriving in the late afternoon, we went for a stroll the first time around and watched a nice sunset. The bungalows are large and have several power points, and have modern airco. Also the bathroom is nice, and there is plenty of hot water. There is also fast and reliable wifi, the signal was strong enough that we could use it in the bungalow. The breakfast was very nice, but we did not try the restaurant for dinner. Certainly one of the better hotels we stayed in while travelling...

An exciting, yet romanting and charming stay! The staff is overwhelmingly friendly and helpful, they even watch your car and your bungalow when you are going out! Right in front of the hotel is a nice beach soccer court where the locals play in the evening and its beautiful to watch. The pool was very clean and absolutely refreshing to jump into with a nice bar right there where they serve perfect refreshments at any time!
