OYO 89478 Lkh Motel — Hotel in Borneo

This is a budget motel, it's just 10 mins from Airport and 15 mins to KK city centre. The place is quite confusing to find without GPS ( Thank God for Waze & Google Map!) as it is located near the housing area. I booked the cheapest room which is Queen Air Conditioning Room (Non-Smoking 🚭) for MYR 80++ from Agoda.

In the room, there is a queen bed, TV, Closet, hangers, air conditioner, celling fan, iron board (I have to request for iron from the reception), one small sofa, A rectangle table that has a room service menu and two bottles of complimentary mineral water, a night lamp and a window with curtains.

There are 3 plugs for guest's electronic use. However, it is not universal. I advise travellers to bring their own adapter. In the bathroom, there is a toilet, shower (with heater), a hair dryer, towel handle and a sink. The motel provides 2 small packs of shampoo and two small bars of soap and two bath towels. There is also a small window at the top of the bathroom and also the bathroom door is dirty..

The environment here is creepy, there is still some unfinished building and the housing area is quite near. My room is quite near to the fish pond (it makes the environment more creepy) I feel so skeptical to live here on my own but I managed 😅. No breakfast is provided in the rate unfortunately. So, my partner and I had to have breakfast on our own before leaving the motel.

The staff looks unprofessional but they are actually very professional and friendly. Before I stay at the motel, I got an email from Agoda that I didn't pay 😑 but I paid la what. So, instead of calling Agoda (cause I know they are sh** ) , I called the reception at 10pm and she helped me solved the problem ❤️ When I checked in, the receptionist remembered my name 😊.

They need to improve in cleanliness and Customer...

Rented homestay package. very dissappointed with the accomodation. package for 7 pax. only provided 2 small bottles of drinking water.

no drinking water filter

wild dogs (maybe) wandering around at night

no proper drainage around this unit - flooded as we had heavy downpour.

construction workers around as the area is still in progress - construction materials around the area -...

Stayed there for 1 night (near the waterpark). The room quite spacious and clean with aircond. TV is available but NO TV channel...but they gave a pen drive to watch a movies (old movies and cartoons).. so boring at night because there are no activities...
