Ozzy Lodge — Hotel in Borneo

Bismillah! Assallamualaikum Our family of 10 (8 adults & 2 kids) leisure trips for the 1st time to Semporna, Tawau Sabah on 25 to 30 Oct 2024 was so awesome. Our accommodations at Ozzy Lodge was a good choice. We occupied 4 rooms at 2nd floor of 2 stories lodge. We all had a decent clean & cozy rooms with toilet attached. The owner Mr Rahim & his wife Ms Rosita was so friendly, accommodative and helpful. Their hospitality was superb. The lodge was clean & their staff always there to take care of the cleanliness. They help to prepare breakfast, lunch & dinner. Got to taste home cook from our Chef Rosita…delicious! Itenaries was just nice by Mr Rahim. We enjoyed the Island hopping, spent time snorkeling & swimming. The next day we go Mabul Island stay for 1 night. Great time snorkeling & swimming there. The water was clear and beautiful view of natural scenery with star fish and beautiful corals. We stayed at Seahorse Sipadan Scuba Water Chalet…clean & nice simple chalet. We watched the beautiful sunset & sunrise…it’s amazing. All this was covered in the itenaries done by Mr Rahim in his package 5 days 4 nights. Back to Semporna, we visited the ‘pekan’ side to buy dry stuff, souvenirs & etc. We visited Tawau Hill and Cocoa village. The best thing about Ozzy Lodge (double story shop houses) they have 8 rooms can cater about 16 paxs. Nearby there’s supermarket, laundry area, coffee shops & big parking lots. Our family had enjoyed so much with great accommodation, food & shopping at ‘pekan side’. Mr Rahim & wife generosity was an extra mile service. Their staff all are friendly & hardworking. If you’re looking for an affordable and comfortable stay in Semporna, Ozzy Lodge is the perfect choice! I had a fantastic experience there. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, and the place was clean and tidy. I stayed in the Queen room, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable with its own ensuite bathroom. I slept soundly throughout my stay. There is also free high speed Wifi too available for in house guests.

The location is ideal, right next to a supermarket and various eateries. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast spread on the second level, which featured a delightful mix of local and continental options. For the price, it’s an exceptional value!
