Wings Hotel Semporna — Hotel in Borneo

Room and bathroom is very dirty. Like DISGUSTINGLY DIRTY. It smells bad too. Breakfast area / lounge area not that clean. Room floor is sticky. They don’t really sweep the floor, they just mop very lightly. I saw this when they were cleaning the opposite room. There were still hair on the drain cover when I first checked in. Stayed there for 2 nights and the hair on the drain cover was still there despite having daily room clean up. Toilet bowl cover busted, no point putting one. Soap compartment is just absolutely disgusting, they didn’t even clean it ever. Shower pipes, shower heads, sink tap and all that is also dirty, to the point that it gets disgusting to touch. Door is rusty. The smell from the toilet is overwhelming. It absolutely stinks. There are stains of toothpaste from previous guests on the mirror. The bathroom wall is moldy! Same goes to the bathroom floor! The room stinks of smoke even tho it’s a non smoking room. On top of all this, there are no wifi at all.

Some of the staff does not behave appropriately. I caught one them sitting in a room that was already cleaned and starts vaping in the room. Most of them are friendly tho.

Side note: i wanted to post pictures of how dirty the place actually is, but i feel it’s too much posting it here.

On the plus side, its cheap for a big room, balcony is big, simple breakfast provided, mini mart 24 hours.

But in my opinion, its still not worth the stay. You will just feel angry at how dirty the place is the whole time...

Im very sad with the room floor n bathroom...i cant imagine how sticky slipery n slurpy dirty yellow color like urine never wash for more then 6 month...how lazy is their staf cleaner....i habe to clean it my self....lucky bataras was opposite of the hotel... so i bought a bottle of clorox n smal detergent...and i call the receptionist n borrow brush n floor mops...even though the floor mops in black color n dirty...i wash them before i mops the floor....half an hour jobs make me feel satisfied after i do it my self....thanks to me....hope the owner of the hotel fix...

We stayed at floor 2, family room. The room’s AC didn’t have remote control and when I asked for it at the reception, the employee simply said ‘if there was none, then there is nothing we can do with it’ and I kept on pressing to find an alternative for the AC remote and he said he will do something about it. I waited 30 minutes and it’s already midnight yet there was nothing to respond from the reception. The room was hot because we cannot control the AC. The room itself was not throughly clean especially the bathroom. Overall it was a bad experiences because...
