Hotel Cascada — Hotel in Johor

i had such a bad experience in this hotel. i totally regret staying in this hotel. First of all, the receptionist guy was very rude to me when it comes to the payment. just imagine he(malay guy) can tell me... You are wrong and you dont know anything when i questioned him for the payment which i made online. he can humbly explained to me that this hotel wont charge our credit card...but he was really rude. i was there at 1.00am and i was extremely tired to go and look for another option. Secondly, the water heater is not in a condition to use. only cold water no hot water to shower. its a centralized water heater. i called the reception and the same guy advising me to just adjust with the situation and if possible, he will change another room for me for the my second day of stay. the reason he gave me is .... ''i'm not a technician to repair that now and other rooms are not clean yet. the cleaners will do only tomorrow morning''. Thirdly, the hotel owner trying to save money by fixing the coway water machine where it placed somewhere in that floor. thats not hot enough to mix any drinks also. no coffee, tea bags are provided. kettle should be provided but they just provide a jug. all the time we need to go outside of the room to fetch water. it is so annoying. I used to stay in 5 stars and RM60 per night room as well but the hotel will normally provide the necessary needs but here i was so disturbed, not in peace and i will never go back to this...

The place was good. The room was comfortable except for its bathroom's poor ventilation system. This made the bathroom quite smelly because it didn't dry properly. Another star deducted is for the bad command of Malay(local formal language) and English. My wife booked the hotel through Agoda apps. When we want to confirm our booking with the hotel, the frontdesk staff was unable to speak both Malay and English at all. She just said "come 3 o'clock" a few times and hung up. We were quite frustrated with that because we couldnt confirm our booking and we were 3 hours away from our destination and it was a holiday season for Eid, where many hotels will surely be fully booked. It was the worst hotel we had ever stayed in. Completely below par. We had to switch the rooms four times for a 2 night stay. The first room had a sink filled with water that wasn’t draining. We moved to a second room and the found that the roof was leaking and the bed was drenched. The third room had a sick with a broken completely non functioning tap. And the fourth room was also leaking from the roof when it rained and our clothes were wet. We moved our clothes out of the way and stayed in that fourth room as we were completely exhausted. We finally changed to the fifth room for our second night of stay. Very poorly maintained hotel.
