GOOD 9 HOTEL — Hotel in Johor

After changing hotel from the disastrous hotel prince 33 in Mt Austin, we really hoped this hotel will provide us a peaceful rest. When we checked in, it was after 4pm. There was some minor construction noise next door to our room but it wasn't bad at first. it became incessantly more annoying and loud by 5:30 and I called down to the front desk to make a complaint and they said they would follow up. The noise didn't really stop, it just paused awhile after our complaint call. I called down again to ask why is the construction still on going. It is a Friday evening and it should be a weekend rest day and its after 5pm. The front desk asked if the construction workers be given to 7pm before they stopped work. I had to put my foot down and said no. Because we already had a bad night at Prince 33 and we were deprived of sleep and we were really in need of at least an hour of catch up sleep. After a little more back and forth, the front desk said they would get them to stop. It finally truly stopped just before 7pm.. we were almost going to give up and move to another hotel by then. Agoda doesn't have any way to address this sort of issue in their portal. Very disappointing. (Don't get me started on Agoda's flight booking!) Anyhow, after all the noise issues went away, we had a very quiet and restful sleep till morning. Room was very clean, toilet a good size, not cramped. Lots of hooks on the walls to hang your stuff and we find that sorely lacking in a lot of budget hotels. Overall, other than the initial problem with noise,...

Spent few days in this hotel because no place to stay, very recommended as there are rooms that can accommodate 3 person, 1 queen and 1 single and so many more. Spacious, comfortable, quiet. Price affordable 😁 indoor decoration also very nice. Cctv recording on front carpark, by the way car can be parked just in front of the hotel, safe and easy. Water dispenser available at ground floor. Simple first aids available

Location wise consider okay but a lot of shops nearby are closed most of the time, might have more choice in future

Bread shop and mamak nearby walking distance

Maybe the only disadvantage that I can think of is that the toilet floor is a little bit slippery, it can be prevented by floor mat haha

The place is very clean, toilet is pretty, the bed is very comfy, hv tv, hv hair dryer, hot shower, aircond is good, jug electric with coffee, mosquito magnet also hv, many place can hang ur clothee or ur handbag. Im very recommend this place to stay. I stay with my friend for 2 night and the price was only Rm 98 for one night and for two single bed which is very worthy price and the hotel is not so far to Pasir Gudang and Edl Highway. Just always bring ur own shampoo or soap and hanger. But there is one thing about the room hv weird smell and maybe because of the smoke ciggrrt. But it was okay n not too strong n just bring ur own freshner...
