Location: It is situated about 6.3 km from Port Dickson town centre. In front of the hotel is the beach. It is also near to KFC and the night market. Reception at the hotel: The attending staff was polite and helpful. He even gave a ground level room making it easier for me to access the room as I was traveling with a kid. The room: Mine was a family room with a king and single beds. The interior was outdated. The room and bathroom smelled stuffy, just like an old damp rug. The walls look like in need of new paint or wallpaper. The furniture and fitting also looks dated. Even the handle of the hot shower was broken. The foods: Breakfast was served from 7.30 - 10.00 am. They served local cook foods like nasi lemak, fried meehoon, fruits (only watermelon that morning), bread pudding, coco crunch (for kids), tea and coffee and one mango juice. The food tasted great. My daughter loves it. The pools: Yes! This is a must if you travel with kids. But both pools (kid & adult) is very small in size if you compare with other hotels. If in peak season o would say it will be cramped. The good: 1. Polite and helpful staff 2. Near to the beach and the night market. 3. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The bad: 1. Interior of the room needs an upgrade 2. Furniture and fitting also needs to be changed 3. The foods served need to have more variety like English breakfast. Overall experience: Good but not that great. If you are there just to sleep through the night, you will do fine.

I recently had a short getaway at Hotel Seri Malaysia Port Dickson, and it turned out to be a pleasant and relaxing experience. Although I only stayed for one night, I felt that the hotel and its surroundings had much more to offer, making it worth coming back for a longer 2-night stay next time. The hotel is strategically located near the beach just a short walking distance away. The beach was clean and peaceful, with stunning sunset views and plenty of open space to enjoy. You can easily join beach activities like banana boat rides, kayaking, and ATV rides right along the shore, which is great for both families and couples. Food-wise, there are many local eateries nearby serving fresh seafood, especially along the Teluk Kemang area, which is just minutes away. If you prefer something simple, the hotel’s own café serves decent breakfast and local dishes. As for the hotel itself, the room was clean, air-conditioned, and equipped with basic amenities like Wi-Fi and TV. Staff were friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile. The swimming pool is well-maintained, and there's ample parking space. Overall, Hotel Seri Malaysia Port Dickson is a budget-friendly, strategically located option perfect for a quick escape. With the beach, food, and local attractions all close by, it’s definitely worth considering for a relaxing 2-night stay.

Not really up to my expectations but nearby to various eateries. Short walk across the road to the beach. Air-conditioning is lousy, not at all cold as the weather is so freaking hot. Thought I could make it cooler but cleaning the air filters but did help much. Requested for a hairdryer but was told they don't have a set. Shower cubicle is a too small. A heavy guy or woman will have a problem turning around in it. The side step outside the shower area is dangerous. Took a couple of stumbles and it's very slippery as you walk out of it. The bidet hasn't got a head. Bad in-house maintenance. Had a nasty encounter with one of the other chain hotels back in the '90s and had not patronised them until now. Breakfast not provided, no problem but no WiFi in the room. That sucks. Only in the lobby area and I'm on the second floor, way off from the lobby. Not much change after a change in administration just recently.

Went there on a business trip. Arrived late around midnight but colleague had save my key for the room. Parking was sufficient. Had some trouble finding my room as I thought the signage wasn't enough or not place strategically. Along the way to find my room, there's a loud music which I thought was from the hotel sound system but upon reaching my room, the source of the noise was from a parking site across the street. Even inside my room, I can heard the music & it was well over 1 am. ||||The room has old carpeting with basic furniture overlooking the hotel's car park. The carpet felt thinning, sticky in some places and looked sad. Air-conditioner was functioning along with other items like television and kettle. Wardrobe had a trouble with its sliding door as it won't slide properly and almost fall off. Room was decent other than those things. Bed looked clean but one of the pillow need a pillowcase changed. The personalize note welcoming guest from our organisation along with 2 wraps of dodol, a local delicacies is not enough to overlook the state of the room.||||Bathroom was small with shower cubicle kinda blocking the bathroom's door. Toilet may got pressure problem as after flushing there's a loud pumping sound. The worst thing comes later that morning when I trying to take the shower but no water came out of the shower head. The knob on the shower just drip some water but the shower doesn't show it was functioning nor broken. Ended up taking shower from the water pipe near the toilet. ||||Breakfast buffet was average with little food to choose from but acceptable. Taste was decent. Waiters were attentive to pick up dishes left on the table. Not much communication between staffs and guest. Just among themselves. Not just in the coffee house but among the cleaners and receptionist too. Quickly check out when...

it was a terrible experience for us. our group organizer requested to check-in by 2pm instead of 3pm, the hotel agreed. my family booked 2 rooms, by 2pm they said only 1 room is ready, its ok we can have a rest there but when we open the door, the room was a major mess. they haven't done housekeeping yet but the frontdesk can pass the key to customer? my father complained to the frontdesk then only the supervisor came and supervise the staff, and they can finish tidying up the room in less than 15mins????? but they were playing around and expect the customers to keep complaining then only they will do their job??? the rooms also doesn't smells pleasant like the carpet haven't been cleaned for a long time.

water pressure is so bad, the water pump sound is too loud each time anybody uses the bathroom we will have the free music playing.

the hotels seems like they don't even bother to check the equipment in the room whether those are in good condition or not! the phone is not connected. the shower heater is not working. our wardrobe dont even have doors. the shower curtain are stained with some kind of colouring and i am sure it has been there for ages and they don't even bother to change to a new one!

the breakfast included is also a major let down. we went to the cafe before 8.30am to find out there's no plates available, they haven't topup the food and drinks yet. my sister ate her nasi lemak in a bowl!

the pool also is too small which can only fit one family at one time. haahaha in dont even know how people can give high rating for this hotel. its not a cheap hotel either.

the hotel need a lot of improvement. carrying the name "Seri Malaysia" with this kind of service is embarrassing.

won't recommend anybody to go...
