Simply wonderful.
Awesome blend of nature and architecture. The common room there offers you unobstructed view of the greenery outside. The forests. The hills. Beats Netflix anytime. The house itself has the charming presentation of a rustic, warm house that greets you to sit, and do nothing, and just enjoy doing nothing. Literally.
If you like rustic decorations and furniture, this is the place to go. Nice place to have your inspiration. If you enjoyed having your coffee while gazing at the stars, chill down there at the balcony. Thereâs also a river/ stream nearby should you wish to indulge yourself. We didnât go there as we are too content doing nothing, sun basking. There are two rooms that you can have, and I guess the max per room is 3 pax. Both offer the view of the forest. They took care of their gardens, so rest assured that you can have a lot of instagrammable memories for you to upload.
Utilities wise, there a common kitchen and utensils that you can use. Breakfast will be provided. We were served some delicious Nasi Lemak. One packet of that nasi, is not enough. Yumm.
The hosts, Suzie and Nikt are also wonderful, keeping the ambience of the house warm and welcoming. This is also part of the charm of the house.
Do try it out. Such a hidden gem....
Read moreI donât usually write a long reviews but I would like to give a big thank you to both Nick and Suze for sharing such a beautiful place to heal and ground my soul. You wonât believe the amount of energy Iâve gained over my stay.
Itâs a perfect display of art and personality, having too little vs having too much. I can see how much effort and thought goes into each corner of the house, from the little displays to the furniture.
I had a good feel of the sunshine days and rainy days, they both gave a very different vibe and scent. I really think pictures can only show so much, the experience of being in Sypder Hill is a unique one, far beyond what one could see through photos.
If you're looking for a place closer to nature, this is the one, but if you're looking for experience that doesn't resemble what the owners are trying to create, I think you'll find that you're overpaying.
*Please do your homework before you come (at least check the photos of the room), it's an amazing place if you can resonate what experiences the owners are trying to curate. If you want a city-vibe place; i.e. air-con or top-notch amenities, please look for a stay in the city instead - it defeats the purpose.
This place has amazing stories and touch to it. I look forward to my next...
Read moreIn our quest to escape the cityscape, we sought accommodations that offered both access to nature and sufficient amenities.
Spyder Hill caught our attention by chance as we explored areas around Seremban. Seremban offers a quieter, less hectic vibe compared to nearby bustling cities The location of Spyder Hill brings you even closer to nature, making it a perfect retreat.
Far from the noise of engines and urban commotion, we were welcomed by a soothing symphony of insects humming and the gentle rustle of wind through the trees. The property also provides stunning panoramic views of the surrounding hills, adding to its tranquil charm.
The resident couple, who also call Spyder Hill their home, are warm, welcoming, and wonderful conversationalists. They were incredibly helpful in offering tips on how to make the most of the area.
If you're looking for a peaceful escape from the trappings of modern civilisation, this is the place to be.
A word of advice: Spyder Hill is best reached with your own vehicle, so I recommend self-driving to fully enjoy the convenience and freedom this...
