Date : 8 - 10 Feb 2025 Room : Deluxe Jacuzzi (Bfast for 4pax) Booking : Thru Whatsapp (RM800 for 2 nights) Deposit : RM200 (Refundable thru cash / cc will take up to 2 weeks)
Check in: I have arrived a bit early at around 1pm and the room is not yet ready, so the frontdesk ask me to come back by 1:30pm as the room is approximately to be ready by then. I come back at 2pm and manage to get early check in with no extra charge. The check in process is smooth and quick as there's no line yet. 4 vouchers of welcoming drinks given but i didnt manage to redeem it (can only redeem dine-in at Tasik Villa Cafe)
Staff : full of smile and attentive. Upon arriving, i was greeted with polite bow and smile by the front desk staff and entrance. Upon check in into room, i needed guidance on how to use the jacuzzi and the staff come promptly to assist accordingly.
Room : Like a small studio with huge balcony to sit around and fully functioning jacuzzi. Spacious enough for 4 adults. Downside is only the TV doesn't offer alot of channel and not connected to streaming apps. And also the toilet bidet is a bit slow in pressure. Basic necessities (sejadah , toiletries, coffee / tea, bathrobe, iron set, room slippers, and weighing scale available). Superb sound proofing.
Breakfast / Room Service : Can be improved as the taste is a bit inconsistent for both days. I didn't have any complaint towards any of the dishes serve but taste-wise can be improved.
Parking : Plenty. No worries on this as others accommodation type (Family villa / 2 bedroom villa) already offers private parking.
Facilities : A lot of interesting leisure activities to try out (sadly i didn't manage to try any) with reasonable prices. The swimming pool is quite huge and open throughout the day.
Wifi : OK enough for streaming / social media but requires constant check in using their web browser which is a bit hassle at a time.
Location: Located at Lukut, so about 15 minutes drive to Teluk Kemang. But not a hassle journey as it's strategically located. Easy to be located as the main building is seen from afar.
Check Out : Just return the room card (only one card given per room, hopefully can be improved in near future) then you will be refunded accordingly....
Read moreCame for a 3D2N stay. Overall it is a nicely built place but unfortunately it is not by the beach and quite far from the actual PD attraction.
The room assigned was spacious but not very clean. Bed side tables were extremely dusty. We even found stocking inside the bedside table. The housekeeper missed this probably because she didnt do a through wipe down. We even found debris under both queen size beds while searching for my wifes earring! The day curtain is stained yellow and the window frame rotting with paint chipping off. I even stepped on a clipped finger/toe nail. There also ants running around the room.
The TV could not be switched off using the remote control. Not even a manual On/Off button in sight. So had to squeeze through a small gap to switch off the TV from the power source.
There was even a cobweb clearly in sight at the lighting system at the lift lobby. Lift were also found to be dusty with finger prints all over the lift door. At 7am the lights at the lift lobby on the 2nd floor was switched off. But at 11am the lights were switched on. Why bother when its already broad daylight?
Breakfast served in 2 sessions. We came in at 7am sharp only to find that the bread toasters were not switched on yet. Even the bread toasters weren't working properly. Coffee and tea urns still not in place until 10 minutes after 7am. Buffet spread that was placed outside wasnt even warm. Baked beans cold straight out of the tins. I saw what looked like chicken ham pieces were soaking in water since only they know how long it has been there. Potential disaster for food poisoning right there. Nasi lemak rice was not fully cooked. Fresh cut oranges smelled rancid. Pastries were refrigerator cold. A sign it has been pre baked and kept in the chiller. So many things wrong with the food served. There wasn't any Manager or Chef in sight to check that everything was in order before coffeehouse is open for breakfast. Why?
Ordered chicken chop for tea time and it took almost 45 minutes to arrive. Hair was found in the food. Just goes to show how much hygiene/cleanliness is observed in the kitchen.
Pictures are evidence of what we found. We will never come back. What...

Stayed in this resort for a business event. Although they advertise as a 5 star luxury resort, they only deserve 4 star at most. And its definitely not a resort. Dont come here expecting a beach, Just a dirty man made lake. Service provided quite lack-luster, unenthusiastic reception and other staffs. No one bothers to greet you as you enter this "luxury 5 star resort", just dirty stares. After check-in, rode the buggy cart to room, however could not open the door with card provided. There's no phone or bell to contact the reception and i cant be bothered to walk all the way back as it was raining. Called reception after googling number online, they sent a bellboy to come with a new card, still no luck. Eventually maintenance had to come and open the whole door mechanism to change the battery 😓.
Stayed in the water chalet room. Interior is old and dated. Clean though. At night room is quite dark and dingy, not enough lighting. Lake is not so pleasant to look at. There's a fountain in the middle of the lake, but never saw it functioning. Although there is some rubbish floating on the lake for "decoration" Path around the lake is also littered with bird poo from the geese and ducks swimming on the lake. No one bothers to clean it up daily. They also have some amenities such as a pool and gym. Gym is located far far away from main building. Pool was dirty with slimy floor and walls. Some boats available for rent too, though never saw anybody on the lake during my stay of 3 days. They also have bicycles and some ATV for rent. Overall, an okay experience. Lots to improve. If you have stayed in any 5 star luxury resort in any part of the world, you will immediately know upon entering this resort that it is not up to...
