I'd like to advise the reader not to book this apartment direct from Glex. Please read all the reviews before you make a decision.
It's our fault for not reading the reviews before booking. We booked this place because of an earlier good experience at Glex Melaka. We were also given a discount voucher but unfortunately it couldn't be used at all.
The process to check in was very troublesome. As other reviewers said, yes, they didn't send you any confirmation email. When we reached the property, the guard asked for the QR code which Glex didn't provide. Whatsapp and call were not answered. It was raining heavily and the management didn't have any tolerance.
The guard asked us to contact the number in Melaka. A while later then only he replied. He said to wait until 3 o'clock, then only can check in. The time was already 2pm+.
We waited until 3pm but still not received any response. We called but not pick up. At 3.30pm then only they replied to our message. But still didn't provide the QR code. We have to ask and wait again.
It was already almost 4pm when we finally managed to get into the room. The message said that we may request for any assistance before 6pm.
We booked for 5 adults. But they only provide 2 queen beds, no extra mattress, 2 bottles of drinking water, 3 mugs and 4 towels. There were no sofas at the living area other than one old and obsolete sofa bed. The facilities were far below expectations. TV was there, but no channels can be watched. Wifi was not available.
We highlighted all the inadequacies and requested them to send as soon as we checked in (definitely before 6pm) but the message was never replied until the next day they sent a reminder to check out.
You can clearly see how poor the management is. It is a waste to spend more than a thousand with such an unpleasant stay. Luckily we only booked for a 1 night stay.
Location wise is good. You can see the sea but of course can't swim during this monsoon season. Very strong wind, I doubt we can make any bbq by the pool. No nearby laundries. Only 1 grocery store at the lobby. Plenty of restaurants and food stalls in the...

We contacted customer service and they kept saying that we had entered the wrong password. We kept asking to change rooms or call someone to handle it, but customer service kept asking us to wait until 10:40pm before they were willing to call someone to handle it. The password that the person who was called finally entered was completely different from the one provided by customer service! Whose problem was it? Read moreI encountered very bad experience because of booking this air bnb through Agoda Apps! Please do not book this place! A scam to me! They charged me rm500 when i do not aware the booking was confirmed. I didn’t stay there because i do not know i manage to book their air bnb. They charge me using a reason of No Show will incur a 100% charges.
First of all, There was no display of upcoming trip in my Agoda app. I cant even find my booking ID via the app so i thought i did not manage to book it.
In addition, the owner of the kuantan imperium was not reachable. No email booking confirmation. They didnt contact me and also never send any confirmation booking until i received a whatsapps from owner on 3pm 11/8/24 to ask me check in the air bnb. The kuantan glex home was not proactive, they will not contact you until your check in time. U will only suddenly receive their whatsapp during check in time.
