Our dining experience here was a disappointment. The food was a disgrace and certainly did not commensurate with the price. The fried vermicelli accompanying the yam ring was stale and therefore, soft. When this was brought to the waitress' attention, they tasted it and then told us that they were not supposed to be eaten. The second dish, a rm188 grouper, a fine fish but was stewed in a claypot to the point of being grossly overcooked and was full of bones. Again, when brought to their attention, they missed the point, ignored the quality aspect and told us instead we will be charged a lower price since it was a small fish. We were however charged the full price since it is priced per fish, not by weight. In both instances, we felt the restaurant tried to avoid culpability and worst, in so doing they insulted our intelligence, which was what we found more offensive. I believe they feel their finese in food presentation can mask any misteps in the quality of the food they deliver...

What a breath of fresh air after our previous dining disaster at the so-called Private Dining私房菜HLS🤮! We searched through Google for some Chinese restaurants and, after reading the great reviews, decided to give this place a try. My husband called ahead to check if we could dine as we reaching 1PM, and Ms. Jessy assured us there would be no problem and arranged a table for us. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Ms. Jessy and the waitstaff, who showed us to a Private Room—such a pleasant surprise! After we were seated, one of our friends had a car breakdown while on their way, causing a delay in our lunch. Ms. Jessy was incredibly patient, understanding the situation. She kindly suggested we place our order first and assured us they would serve the food once everyone arrived. Despite the kitchen's break time at 2:30PM, Ms. Jessy told me not to worry and arranged for one of the waitresses to stay and serve us.

After some hassle, our group finally arrived, and the food was served promptly—and hot, with steam rising from the dishes! The service was absolutely top-notch—attentive, friendly, and professional. The waitress made sure every detail was perfect without us even needing to ask. Drinks were refilled instantly, plates changed promptly, and the staff ensured we were comfortable and happy throughout the meal. And then, the food—Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. It’s clear the chefs here know exactly what they’re doing, and the quality of the ingredients speaks for itself. This restaurant truly sets the standard for what a great dining experience should be. Food was not expensive, for those who think is expensive maybe you have not eaten expensive ones. Oh, and they also offer Private Dining 私房菜 (advance reservation recommended).

We left completely satisfied and can’t wait to return. Thank you to head Chef allow us to stay a little longer for us to settle everything. Five stars all the way!

从我们走进餐厅的那一刻起，就能感受到这里完全不同的氛围。Jessy小姐和服务员热情地迎接了我们，并带我们进入了一个私人包间，真的让我们很惊喜！包间很大很舒服。 刚坐下不久，我们的朋友因车坏了导致午餐时间延误，Jessy小姐非常有耐心，理解我们的突发情况。她建议我们可以先点餐，并等所有人到齐后再开始上菜。尽管餐厅在 2:30PM有休息时间，她还是告诉我不用担心，并安排了一位女服务员留守为我们服务。 经历了一些波折后，所有人终于到齐，食物也随之热腾腾地端了上来，菜肴上桌时都能看到热气腾腾！服务更是无可挑剔——服务员非常贴心、友好、专业。饮料无需提醒就被续满，盘子及时更换，整个团队时刻确保我们在用餐过程中感到舒适和满意。

再来说说食物，真的令人惊艳！新鲜、味道丰富、火候恰到好处。每道菜都堪称经典，从鲜美的海鲜到诱人的配菜，每一口都能感受到厨师的功力和食材的品质。这家餐厅真的将美食体验提升到了一个新高度。 哦对了，他们还提供私房菜...

Very good food. Newly opened restaurant in Kuantan. Handicap friendly. Too bad its not on waze yet. Hopefully real soon.

The braised shark fin soup was really out of this world. Claypot fish curry was just average, the fish was fresh just the curry was average. Sambal Prawns really good & well made. Fried squid with spiced salt was really fresh, however a little overcooked. Very good service. Will come back to try the rest of the menu.
