The location is not that ideal. The guesthouse is not within walking distance from the city area or the scenic Teluk Champedak. I would prefer an accommodation near Teluk Champedak so that I could view the gorgeous sunrise in the early morning or take a relax stroll along the sandy beach in the early morning and absorb in the tranquilizing sound of the waves splashing. While you can drive your car to Teluk Champedak early in the morning, it is inconvenient and harassing to wake up your partner while he is deep in his dreams and asking him to drive you to the beach when the car does not belong to you.||||Most visitors came here by cars. There seem to be ample parking lots in front of the guesthouse to serve most guests.||||There is this Wan Fo Tien Buddhist Temple attraction which is located along a slip road, about 5 to 10 min short walk from the guesthouse that can compensate the minus point of the location. The temple has a scenic pond with a karst hill backdrop studded with Buddhist statues and sculptures in the garden compound. I also dropped in to visit the prayer hall and I could feel a sense of meditative peace permeates the air as some Buddhist chanting music were being played. It is free entrance and you can spend about an hour or less at this attraction. ||||The room price is reasonable at about RM88/- per double room. No extra bed option as the extra bed may cost RM50 and would be advisable to just rent another room at a little more. The room price here is competitive as there are other similar guesthouses located at the same building. I did not make a price comparison and just dropped in into this guesthouse. One thing I like this guesthouse is it is new and clean. The room is also spacious and there is wall mounted TV set that has a number of channel. The Chinese channel is at channel 5 and 6. ||||The water pressure is low and we had to turn on the heater to jack up the pressure so that more water is dissipated and there is much noise generated when you increase the pressure. ||||The wifi connection is bad. You cannot connect to wifi when you are in the room. You only can access to wifi at the lobby area. The supervisor assures me that the guesthouse is in the process of upgrading the wifi system so that accessibility in the room will not be a problem. ||||The staff at the reception counter is courteous but need to improve on the standard of conversational English. ||||The room cleaning service is not on a daily basis. I was told by the counter staff that the room will only be cleaned on the third day. I am not sure if this was because of shortage of staff during Chinese New Year period. ||||Overall, my impression is that the guesthouse is clean...

Read morei spent a night at the hotel on saturday night. the hotel is clean, hot water is adequate for a comfortable shower. there is adequate parking space beside and in front of the hotel. there is even a small land just opposite the hotel which is reserved by the hotel for its guest. location of the hotel is good. in front of the hotel, there is a 7 eleven. however, the door of the hotel is quite thin. at midnight 1am, the noise of the tv is quite disturbing. after i told the people who were watching the tv about the noice ( i was not sure if they were the guests or the hotel personnels), they lower the tv sound and i was able to have a peaceful sleep. i think the hotel should impose a policy of no tv after...
