Modelled after a famous medieval castle, Haut-Koenigsbourg in Alsace, France, The Chateau Spa & Wellness Resort is situated about 900m above sea level on the hilly Bukit Tinggi.||Opened in 2011, I had booked the Deluxe Room which measures 25 square metres. I was accommodated in Room No. 318 which offers a view of the swimming pool. There is also a spa, sauna and a complimentary yoga session for guests staying here.||The bathroom has all the basic amenities including a large rain shower. The shower pressure is strong. To enjoy a hot shower, the water heater switch outside the bathroom wall needs to be turned on. There are four cans of drinks inside the mini fridge and a fruit plate which are complimentary for the guest’s enjoyment. Upon my return to the room after an evening swim, I was delighted to find the turn down service of my room. The hotel room TV offers selective cable channels which include HBO, AXN, Cinemax, CNN, Bloomberg, CCTV 4 and Cartoon Network.||The operating restaurants at this resort are Belle Vue (Afternoon tea) and La Vie (All-day international dining). My breakfast is served at the smaller venue, Belle Vue instead of La Vie due to low occupancy on a weekday. The breakfast menu includes fried noodle, nasi goreng, nasi lemak, American breakfast and pancake. I also had my lunch and dinner at La Vie. Room service is also available in the comfort of the room.||The temperature during my stay in Dec was 25°C during the day and it dropped to 22°C at night. Even though air-conditioning and fan is provided, you can open the windows to enjoy fresh cool air. The hotel is thoughtful to include a mosquito netting in its window design. I spotted a group of monkeys roaming at the back of the pool. Therefore you are advised to close the windows whenever you are out of the room.||I am pleased there is an inclusion of a night light at the bottom of the bedside table, a feature which is lacking in many of the hotels I had stayed. Despite the hotel being more than a decade old, the room interior is well maintained. Kudos to the Maintenance Team for this great job! Not to mention the good service of the front desk team and the restaurant staff of La Vie and Belle Vue.||The resort is a short 7mins walk to Tropicale Colmar. To get there, walk towards the resort carpark and take the lift to level 2. Continue upwards and you will be able to see your destination.||This charming resort is great for a relaxing stay. You can hear the sounds of nature such as birds chirping and watch monkeys roaming at the forest behind the pool.|There are only two resorts in Berjaya Hills, The Chateau Spa & Wellness Resort and Tropicale Colmar, both which are managed by the Berjaya group. Had the opportunity to stay at LC last year on my husband’s birthday in 22 May 2023. It was also our wedding anniversary. We went on weekdays and there were only us and another guest around at that time. It was so nice we felt like we had the whole castle to ourselves. Kids had a blast too! We had all the privacy we could ever asked for. Celebrated at the Belle Vue Cafe and the Bar where the Live Band performed after dinner. The hotel staff whom attended to us during our stay was Bobby. He was very attentive and patient in handling all my special requests. Helped made all my plans went smoothly for my husband's birthday. Food was exceptional, compliments to Chef Eika! It was truly a memorable 2 nights stay at the Castle.

Then this weekend 26.10.24 my siblings and I decided to treat our mom for a surprise staycation here for her 66th birthday. We celebrated her bday once again at Belle Vue coz it has the best setting for a celebration. Mom went for the Spa and La Sante. She enjoyed that too. Once again thanks to Bobby for assisting me in making all the necessary arrangements. Mom was so happy. Even dad too. So glad we made a choice for them to stay here. It really gives you that British/European feel when ur there. The best part is, compared to Europe and Britain, here the bathrooms and toilets have water host for the toilet 🤭😉

We’re coming back for more birthdays stays very soon!😘

07.12.24 - Oh came again this weekend for my daughter’s 3rd Birthday. She’s obsessed with princesses and always wants to celebrate her birthday as a princess at a Castle. So Le Chateau is the closest most accurate Castle experience we can get here in Malaysia. So yeah as always never disappointed. I got us the 1 Bedroom Suite this time and it was AMAZING except they don’t have bidet and the tvs are old. So the visuals are not so clear. But part from that small issues everything about the suite was perfect! Bobby always made sure we had the best experience staying here. This time our server was Johny. He was cool and attentive too among other staff.

Looking forward to come here again for next...

An unforgettable stay at The Chateau Spa & Wellness Resort 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The moment we arrived, we were already impressed by the stunning castle-like architecture — it truly felt like stepping into a fairytale. To get to the lobby, you take a lift up, which adds to the sense of arriving somewhere grand and secluded. We arrived about an hour earlier than the official check-in time, but the front desk staff were incredibly accommodating and allowed us to check in early. While waiting, we were offered a refreshing glass of orange juice as a welcome drink. One of the staff members, Mark, was exceptionally friendly and professional — he personally showed us around the property and made us feel right at home. Our room was incredibly spacious and clean, with a relaxing and pleasant aroma — possibly bergamot essential oil. It instantly gave a sense of peace and calm. The bed was beautifully decorated with towel swans, adding a romantic and thoughtful touch. We also explored the hotel facilities, including the pool, steam room, and sauna —all were clean, well-maintained, and not overcrowded. The highlight for me, however, was the breakfast — a generous spread of Western, Asian, and fusion cuisine. The breakfast area overlooks the pool, so the view while dining is just lovely and peaceful. After breakfast, we took a walk and relaxed at a tented lounge area near the pool. The light breeze and the quiet ambiance made it the perfect place to unwind and just enjoy the moment. Although the price leans towards the premium side — especially for the suite we stayed in — I believe it was absolutely worth it for the comfort, the service, and the experience. Even their standard rooms (around RM200+ per night) seem like a great value for what you get. The resort is also well-located — quiet, not crowded, and away from traffic. There’s not a lot of sightseeing to do aside from the nearby French Village, but that’s actually a plus if your goal is rest and relaxation. All in all, it was a refreshing and memorable getaway. I would absolutely return again when I need a peaceful break from the city. 🫶🏻
