Colmar Tropicale Lookout Point Tower — Attraction in Pahang

About 1 hour away from KL City by car. A nice spot to get out of town to enjoy the countryside. Day-pass is 14RM per person with free parking on side.

The place is enspired by the French city Colmar in Alsace. Unfortunately I couldn’t find a place serving a nice Flammkuchen. We went up the tower to enjoy the view before taking the bus to visit the Japanese garden. A nice spot in natur to visit as well in Bukit Tinggi.

I visited Colmar Tropicale at Berjaya Hills for a day trip. The architecture is charming and inspired by classic European villages, giving the place a unique and peaceful atmosphere. You can explore the area within 1 to 2 hours — there are a few cafes including Starbucks and some souvenir shops. I recommend visiting before 5 PM to enjoy the pleasant weather and natural light for photos However, the place definitely needs better maintenance and more attention. Facilities are outdated, transportation is a major issue, and Grab rarely works in the area. Unfortunately, some taxi drivers take advantage of visitors and charge up to three times the normal fare. Tip: Book a round-trip driver in advance to avoid hassle.With better infrastructure and service upgrades, this could be a much more attractive tourist destination
