Kangar Hotel — Hotel in Perlis

Found this place through Booking. Location by the roadside, directly above KFC. Room is quite small. Booked for 2 queen sized beds. Got room 10. Have free wifi, flatscreen tv with ample channels. A small table by the large mirror, and two small bedside table. Have 3 socket. Had to use kettle on the bedside table as the cable is quite short to use the socket beside toilet. Comes with 2 bottle of drinking water, 2 coffee cups and 2 glasses. Also a kettle. A chair also provided by the mirror. Large, tall windows with blackout curtains. The air conditioning unit is quite old, have to control by a wall controller. But works just fine. Only the ceiling lighting works, not the ones by the bed boards. One long, sturdy and high wall mounted rod to hang clothes, complete with 4 clothes hanger. Also 4 towels are also provided. The toilet is ok, looks quite old, but everything is clean and dry when we arrived. Comes with a pair of slippers and a big bottle of soap. But the water heater is centralised, so you can't control the temperature. Quite hot to our liking, but maybe not to others. Water pressure is ok. Another thing is, the door to the toilet is also quite stuck. Have to be careful not to damage is more. Iron board is outside with the iron, by the receptionist. You can also request to use them inside your room. The hotel is very near to a lot of nice, trendy and good eating spots. Very near to Din Borong too if you need to buy anything. Everything is just a walk away, including clinics, taxi, tourist spots, etc.. Overall, a good...

Pros: Stratergic place,near to the Store and just a few steps to well known Ngopi shop( best sandwich) and KFC ( downstairs) 45 minutes to Padang Besar, and 20 minutes to Kuala Perlis Room cleanliness is 5/5 and condusive environment and interior Friendly staff and very helpful Room comes with aircond, water heater, kettle and Astro.

The room was clean and do provide mineral water as well. Only the toilet made me felt disappointed. There's no place to put toiletries, there's no water heater controller and the saddest thing was the water pressure so low which put my shower like a meteor rain.. Need to on and off the switch regularly for me to hv a shower each time. Hope this hotel can improve...
