DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!! We arrived at the Grand Kapar hotel and had booked 3 nights in a twin room. They were unable to provide a twin room. We had no sleep at all due to the noise from the road outside and the paper thin walls. I could hear the person in the next room breathing and when there mobile phone vibrated, I felt the vibration through the wall in my bed. I have travelled extensively throughout the world and have never stayed in such a noisy hotel. ||||We could not stay any further nights with no sleep so decided to move hotel. They did offer us another room but all rooms are extremely noisy due to the paper thin walls and we did not want to spoil our holiday due to lack of sleep. We were reasonable and were willing to pay for the night we stayed but not the additional two nights. The reception staff were unable to assist therefore called the manager. The manager was rude and lied to us. I asked to speak to him in person but he was unable to and then put the phone down on us. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was shocked as I have never been treated like that. Please do not let this put you off going to Malaysia as we found everyone else to be friendly and helpful.||||We had to pay for 3 nights despite only being able to stay 1 through no fault of our own. We request the manager refunds the 2 nights we were unable to stay and apologises to us for his...

I recently spent 2 nights with my family at Grand Kapar Hotel in Kuala Selangor, and I must say it was a very pleasant experience. The hotel offers great value for money, especially for travelers looking for a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located place to stay.
The room was neat, well-maintained, and equipped with all the basic amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy, the air conditioning worked well, and the Wi-Fi connection was strong throughout my time there. I appreciated the quiet atmosphere at night, which made for restful sleep.
The staff were courteous and helpful, always ready to assist with any queries. Check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free, which I really appreciated. There’s also ample parking space, which is a big plus if you’re driving.
Location of this hotel is strategically situated with easy access to nearby attractions like Bukit Melawati, firefly boat rides, and local seafood spots. It served as a convenient base for exploring the charm of Kuala Selangor.
Overall, I had a satisfying stay and would definitely consider returning to Grand Kapar Hotel the next time I visit the area. It’s a great choice for short stays, business trips, or even a...
Read moreMy wife and I had booked 3 nights at the Grand Kapar Hotel, but left early because of the following reasons.||1. All the rooms were ingested with mold (we were offered 3 different rooms, the last room had less mold, but was clearly still giving us both headaches)||2. Every room we checked out had BLOOD stains on the sheets and pillows as well as lots of other black marks. It was simply dirty.||3. There was ants everywhere in our last room, even in the bed.||4. Staff are completely unhelpful, which is not surpricing given the standards of the hotel. I asked for the manager, it appears there is none, but it is operated out of China.||5. The second night we askedfor the tv in the reception to be turned down as we could loudly hear it in our room (it even drouned out our music we put on, to drown out the tv). luckily it was turned down, unluckily it was turned back up 5 minuttes later.||6. When we explained the issues to the staff and why we had to leave early, they did not care, and told us, we still had to pay for the extra night.||I would advise anyone to avoid this hotel...
