We stayed at Oyo because itโs apparently close to the airport but itโs a bit of an outskirt & getting there at night may look terrifying as there are no lights and it may seem like off the main highways. Anyway, the reception staff was somehow nice & helpful. That was the only positive thing I could think of I think. He even helped us book a cab but unfortunately brought us to the wrong airport instead of terminal 1. But it was okay, I guess there was miscommunication. We managed to take the shuttle bus from T2.As per the room, it was not that clean. Bed linens and blankets have stains and little red ants as well. It was totally not comfortable. There was an AC but it was not giving the right coolness throughout the night. It was noisy and there were no tissues. There was no lift as well to get to the reception, lucky we only had our carry-on luggages with us and not the big luggage. I donโt think I would recommend staying at this hotel. For just the same price or a little extra cost, I think there might be another one to choose for...

If the owner read this; please talk to your reception staff.....We had no water in the shower and after informing the receptionist he just smiled and said: sorry, the water pump is broken, I cannot help with that.
the next morning, I wanted to drink water and get some hot water for my coffee, but the water dispenser was empty. I asked the same reception guy about where can I get drinking water. He replied while lying down on the sofa: sorry, water finished! I asked him again, no other source? he replied: No, no water.
It is UNBELIEVALBLE how careless is he....
This hotel was a nightmare...the window of my room did not close...so you can expect mosquitos and noise same as you sleep outside.
Starting at 8am, huge noise from outside because the window that cannot close face a main street and a big construction site.
The window bring HUGE NOISE from outside, because it is just above...
ย ย ย Read moreI stayed at Modeena Inn as I needed a place just for the night near the airport. I was little surprised as my taxi threaded it's way though a kampong on the way there (very late in the evening) but the next day back again was quicker, by the main road. The hotel is fine for a stop-over. The best part was in the morning heading out by foot and across the pedestrian bridge over the highway and thence to an area of shoplots past the petrol station. I had a nice breakfast at the mamak there and also saw some nice nature along the main road (see pics). The front desk guy was friendly, I can recommend this place as a budget option...
