Intan Beach Resort — Hotel in Terengganu

If you are considering to stay at this resort, I hope you contemplate it twice. This is my honest review from the experience of staying here for 2 nights.

Customer service - 1/5 The service there is the worst, they are not costumer friendly.

Service - 1/5 I requested for towels at night, but were declined as they were out of towels and were told that I should ask for them earlier in the morning.

Cleanliness - 1/5 The floor is dirty and there are dusts everywhere. I even have to sweep the floor using the broom from the corridor, since there is no broom provided in the room. Do not even get me started about the lipstick stain on the mug and the questionable bedstains. Is this how you clean your room and serve your customers? Disappointing.

Facilities - 2/5 Let me tell you that the pictures of a pool is FALSE. There is NO POOL available here. You are welcome. And I do not have words for the dirty toilet. You can read up other's reviews.

Access to the beach - 4/5 The distance is short, and that is the only great thing about the stay here.

Price - 3/5 Overpriced, not par to the facilities.

Overall, I definitely do not recommend you to stay here, unless you just want the short distance to the beach and you are on a tight budget. Thank you for reading this long review and I hope that you will experience a great holiday...

Booked directly through phone call and gambled our stay here since we booked last minute during deepavali & school holidays. The rooms though a little bit aged, but it was very clean, spacious and has both aircond & ceiling fan. The bathroom is also clean, water pressure is good but u need to bring your own toiletries. There is no lift on the resort. Check-in is also swift and easy. Need to prepare cash for the security deposit but u can pay for the rooms via cash or card.

The beach is just few steps away and there is an open parking around the resort. The staffs are also friendly and attentive to our request. One of our rooms has a balcony where u can enjoy the seaview so its a pluspoint for us. There is no pool, it is at opposite resort.

Location wise, its near to the center of Kuala Terengganu and finding a place to eat is no hassle because it is close to many eateries around. There is also a coastal walkway spanning through pantai batu buruk where u can have a nice stroll around the evening. There is also an event held around the weekend when we were there so it was vibrant and lively.

Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay here and may come here again if we visit...

This wonderful hotel is located straight on the beach with a comfortrable terrace and cosy rooms. In the room you have everything for the serene rest.||About 30 min by foot to the city center, at the same time it's only 10 min to the local restaurants with delicious food and it is quite close to the road with a bus stop (there is no noise at all). ||Note that this place is not in a party area, all parties are in the center and I can't say there are a lot of them )) Plus, it is a public beach, however, all citizens are gathering together a bit farther and closer to the city as the stream there is not that cold and strong and the bottom is more flat so it is more safe to swim there.
