A&W Pantai Batu Buruk — Restaurant in Terengganu

Re-update. Today got good wireless connection. Staff are good too. Clean and tidy also. 😁

There is spacious area maybe because the table is small size. If big pack, then have to combine few tables.

And maybe because of today is holiday. So there were quite long queve, as the customers keep coming in. So, we decide to install A&W app to avoid the hastle.

Unfortunately, the mobile connection was very low and the app was not user friendly for me. A&W should redesign their app features. And, I know its now cashless world, but still the option for paying in cash should be one of the method.

Since the app is taking quite some time to load bcoz of bad connection, we went to counter for order as the queve was already shorten.

Oh! Actually, their counter system also was down. Thats why there were issues with few other customers. Sigh. Luckily, the staff serving me is polite and showing her 'sorry' gesture.

Cleanliness? Not really good (maybe too many customers coming for holiday). Regretly, the customers didnt have proper attitude to clean and tidy up their table before leaving.

LAST, if you are planning to do work/task that requires internet connection, maybe you should not choose this venue. Even their staff said that all mobile data connection or phone coverage are not good.

The location is strategic. The staff who takes the order is quite annoying. Shes not describe the package that the restaurant have but theres another one staff (i think the senior) help to explain to me the package. Then i asked her what do you have for rahmah package and she just said burger & rolling her eyes. Urghhhh until the other staff explain they have 3 choices of burgers for rahmah. Omg thats so rude.

Then for chicken we have to wait like 40mins. Eventho we are dine in. 🤨. My son already become a monster cannot wait already 😐. Should the lady tell us have to wait but nobody let us know 🙃

Not going to eat here again in the future.

One Thing Terengganu Town got right, and i'm not blinking my bear costume eyes, is keeping their good ol' A&W outlet by the Pantai Batu Burok. It's just as iconic and heritage as the PJ branch. With the refurbishments, it just made it so much cooler and nice place to dine-in while maintaining the surrounding feel which carry all the memories. A&W KT + Foodpanda + COVID-19 restrictions was, in many ways the combo that led to the comeback of this old horse of a fast food outlet.
